Going for a jog

Hey guys^^

I present to you a piece that was actually planned to be a simple one but turned out to be way more detailed, a good practice for colouring and one of the traditional pieces of my favourite pony I'm super proud of^^ Spitfire simply going for a run but looking so good while doing so and also looking off to the side with some kind of a bedroom expression on her face if I'm honest XD

I think i got inspired by :iconholivi:'s art, especially this piece over here:

Despite of loving her artwork and style so much, i also adore her colouring, the contrasts and colours she uses and how lively she makes the characters look in her pieces. Thank you for being an inspiration for me, Holivi.

As you can see I got influenced by the running/jogging idea here but wanted to make it Spitfire and of course in my style still, only trying to work my way through the piece with the colours turquoise/blue combined with magenta/red on the other side to give an interesting effect of plasticity. It also helped me underline and bring out the muscles and different aspects of the body shapes of the pegasus mare. My goal was it to get as close to a realistic looking athletic body as possible and I am super proud of the outcome of this drawing, seriously. I love the colours and the anatomy here, as well. I think it does look quite humanoid and I personally don't see many if even any flaws at all^^ Yay, it makes me smile to see this drawing finished!

Of course I am open for any critique but also keep in mind that drawing humans, especially human bodies/anatomy is still super difficult for me and that any step further is a huge success for me, especially when it features my favourite character :D Spitfire is also an inspiration, giving the opportunity to practice athletic, sporty female bodies and making it look nice, firm and well-shaped. What do you think about it?
