Falling for a Kiss

You know me, there has to be a Spitifre/SpitDash related drawing every month and I'm always in a hurry at the end of the month there XD This time I created something rather simple that might even look familiar to some of you.
What I wanted to do for a while was drawing this as a tribute to the first ever SpitDash drawing I ever saw, which is by Calicopikachu https://derpibooru.org/4?q=spitdash
I loved the style of the characters and wanted to draw a version in my style to give credit to the first ever SpitDash image I saw and that influenced me as well^^ I'm grateful this artist and his artwork exist :D
I admit, what I first found simple and quick to draw turned out to be much more complicated especially when it comes to the snouts and heads in general since the way I planned it didn't make much sense and re-drawing everything wasn't an option for me in such a rush. So I had to try out what would look decent enough and still believable. I hope I managed, I really had my doubts here and there and Snoopy tried to convince me otherwise. I'm more than happy to hear he thinks this drawing is appealing since it actually matters a lot to me.
As you can see, I did make a few small changes compared to the original, but I still wanted to keep it the same and the idea of it - Spitfire and Rainbow Dash going for a fly together when Spitfire suddenly shows her feelings very clearly to Dash, kissing her in an intense moment, just letting go and still holding them both while they're falling. Rainbow sure is surprised, but wouldn't be? XD
I really hope you like this attempt of my own depiction for this scene. I'm looking forward to your feedback :D
