Heya!

Ok, whom of you knows them? Raise your hand, you get a cookie! XD Heh, indeed I've been watching a Let's Play of an older Point and Click Adventure called Edna and Harvey - the Breakout. It's by a German company and a cool, funny and yet serious and interesting game with amazing characters like Edna and Harvey here!

Edna is a young girl suffering from schizophrenia but she takes it easy. However, she is kept in an asylum without any memories of her past, only her always best friend stuffed toy bunny Harvey is with her. He is the incarnation of herself in a stuffed animal and only she can hear his shenanigens and random ideas since he loves everything chaotic, disgusting, funny and weird XD He'd like to set the moon on fire and build an own Dolorian from a mowing machine. Haaaah yes...that's Harvey and Edna is just as crazy. Together they make a great team and break out of the looney bin!

I really had fun watching the let's play for this game and the sequel to it "Harvey's New eyes" that I felt like drawing a little something for it, just Edna and the little insane bunny in my simple style, nothing too spectacular XD This game is mostly about simple graphics but lots of dialogue and creativity. I wanted to see if I can get a good depiction of both of them in my style, giving her more realistic proportions for example. I am pretty happy with how Harvey turned out! He looks exactly the way I imagined him^^ Edna is ok-ish as well in my opinion. However, since these two create a huge contrast to other characters in the game and the whole story contains many twists and turns, I wanted to bring in some strong contrasts as well, by using soft colours wih coloured pencils but very hard, thick black shadows to break away from that. I think I like that^^
