Colour Creatures (Blue)

Hey everyone!

A while ago I came up with an own concept for a story with my own characters but rather creatures in general. It just happened to come up in my mind, dealing with colours as my main focus.

These are so called Colour Creatures, a spirit-like species that lives among us unnoticed. Their task is it to bring colour in this grey world, to create all the different shades and colour tones we know on earth. From turning the water blue and the grass green to making butterflies or colouring the leaves orange and yellow in fall - they are responsible for that.

Now that I slightly lost connection to this project, which was originally planned to be a Graphic Novel some day, I thought I should at least colour in the traditional lineart I came up with. 

The basic idea behind this is that there is an uncountable amount of colour creatures, one different from the other. We have 3 main "grown up" creatures - the 3 primary colours Red, Yellow and Blue. Their "oldest children" are the secondary colours Orange, Green and Purple. The small ones follow as the "youngest children", everyone of them having a specific task of them. Some create plants and flora, others animals, fauna or other objects on this planet. 

Last but not least we have Blue as the coldest colour scheme among the Colour Creatures. Its Leader is responsible for everything water-related, for rain, oceans, the blue sky and more.  It's easily recognizable because of it's longer fur and wavier "mane" on his neck.

These are also the most sensitive ones, often close to tears of sadness or joy, pretty emotional little creatures. However, when it comes to solving complicated situations, they remain serious and focused on their task while others tend to get distracted or carried away during more complex challenges. They keep a cool head (as we say in a German phrase heh). 

Whether it'd being colourul flowers or animals like this little blue bird the smaller "child" carries in the foreground, healing/medical herbs or all in all beautiful cloud patterns in the sky in the morning and evening, they also have their tasks to do and their chance to spread joy and beauty by doing so.

 I really hope you like this concept of mine and this a little rough drawing of mine. Wanted to keep it simple and kinda realistically painted at this point. Looking forward to your feedback
