:COMM: Candles and Starlight

Hello everyone^^

I can show you the next commission, which is a lovely digital piece for :iconkikopaint: and her boyfriend :D She asked me to draw her OC and her boyfriend's OC cuddling underneath the starry sky with some candles surrounding them, keeping them safe and worm naww.

I really REALLY love the way this turned out^^ I had lots of fun drawing this piece since not only was the romantic topic I rather enjoy and embrace, but also the colouring that I knew was gonna be challenging and yet very enjoyable to do and look at. The colours would bring many contrasts with yellow/orange and purple/blue shades and would make it interesting. Therefore I wanted to also create some kind of gradient of these colours from bottom to top. I just love it^^ It looks so warm and cozy.

The characters themselves were quite enjoyale to draw too since they're adorable together and I already liked the look of them on my sketch. They are supposed to show how much you can relax in such sweet company under the beautiful night sky.

I want to thank the commissioner so much for giving me such a beautiful task to work with and for their patience and trust :D As well as for their support, of course! It means a lot to me :D
