The Raccoon and the Fox

I managed to work on something traditional inbetween and really enjoyed the process and the theme itself! I decided to draw some of my favourite video game/ movie characters from my childhood and one of my absolute favourite games and franchises is Sly Raccoon :D
I always loved the character design of Sly and Carmelita, enjoyed the game mechanics, humor and especially the interaction between Sly Cooper and Carmelita Fox themself. They being somehow enemies and the lady trying to arrest the thief while also showing signs of affection towards one another, kinda like they have a crush on the other one was just so sweet in my eyes and enjoyable to see their development :D The raccoon made first steps all the time, flirting with her in a very charming way, even kissing her once^^ And of course we know the rest of the game series :) Long story short: I wanted to draw these two since their characteristics and interactions really appealed to me.
I wanted to draw them in my style, trying to feature slightly more realistic features to them instead of their very unique, cartoony style I also adored while playing the games^^
I gave them whiskers like they'd normally have as anthropomorphic animal characters, tried to draw their clothes a little more detailed and shading them more naturally. Haaaa, it's so much fun working with coloured pencils and putting layer after layer of colour on the sheet of paper. Very enjoyable and relaxing.
