Callum and Rayla

So, after you've seen Bait, the glow toad from "The Dragon Prince", an original series on netflix, I also wanted to draw two further protagonists that share a more or less romantic story with each other even :D Callum and Rayla
A human and an elf girl together in a world that is seperated between humanity and mythical creatures, they go on this quest together, help and support one another and eventually fall in love :D Nawww. I like it. What makes them special is their not too clicheed connection/relationship regarding their characters since Rayla appears to be the "stronger" and "dominant" character here, being well aware of self-defence and combat while Callum is more of a spiritual guy focusing on magic, not being the typical strong protector but rather pretty shy and nervous from time to time who sometimes lacks the words he needs and then again finds exactly the right ones to tame this wild and tough girl by his side. It's a wonderful balance between them two that I wanted to show here.
Here you can see Callum being the taller and appealingly stronger one protecting his girlfriend, but Rayla is not completely uneven and completely lets herself go, instead being attentively and ready for anytthing while still looking into the eyes of her boy with deep love.
I coloured them in with Brushmarkers, yet coloured pencils as well since I have no skin tones or anything that I could have used. So I used coloured pencils for face and skin that I then blend in with the colourless blender. I think it doesn't show ttoo obvious that I used coloured pencils, but yet again I can tell how much I love and enjoy working with Brushmarkers^^ I want more!
