Zira and Scar

This is probably one of the couples that we would have wished to see for real in one of the movies, showing Scar and Zira cuddling together. Both of them are antagonists and it shows in their darker, more menacing facial features and yet, they may or may not feel a deep bond that is similar to love.
Probably that tiny spark of love is what created even the smallest hint of light in their dark hearts and seeing how her beloved lion and mate got killed truly broke Zira and created the deep hatred towards Simba as we saw in the 2nd movie "The Lion King - Simba's Pride". I kinda feel for her and always believed that she actually was the bride of Scar. They deserved their own illustration. They are not wholesome, they are cruel characters and I wanted to show that in their eyes and smiles. Nevertheless, we see them cuddling and embracing eacvh other in this drawing to still create sympathy for them as we also see the green flames behind them, showing that they could be the perfect villain couple.
I love the outcome of this art piece and truly hope you enjoy it as well^^ Was difficult and challenging, yet an absolute plasure to work on!
