Creepy Cute Costume

Halloween is approaching and since there is a convention I'm going to be vending at this weekend, which is targeted towards Manga, Anime and Videogame fans, I decided to create some fun little illustrations of things that probably many people would like. One of them is Pokémon. Nowadays, almost everyone knows and/or likes Pokémon and I thought I'd go for something sweet and yet somewhat spooky for Halloween^^ Here we have Mimikyu working on its DIY costume for Halloween!
Mimkyu (in short) is a Pokémon that wants to be adored and therefore dresses up as Pikachu, since it's a Pokémon everyone loves and enjoys the company of. However, little Mimkyu here isn't that talented with sewing and crafting, which is why its costume isn't very convincing while still showing similarities to the original Pikachu. It's something between cute and creepy at the same time, though it would do fantasticly on Halloween, or what do you think?
I had a lot of fun drawing this piece as I experimented with colours and chose a blue grey for the shading, which gave the overall appearance a rather desaturated look - fitting for a "copy" of the colourful and bright Pikachu^^ I must say, I'm very happy with the result and hope you like it as well!
