The Bizarre Wild Haggis

If you’ve never tried haggis before… it’s actually quite a tasty dish. In terms of flavour I suppose it’s comparable to minced sausage filling, but that doesn’t quite capture it. You should be able to buy it online (particularly around Burns Night in January each year, when haggis is traditionally eaten).

In most parts of the world, though, haggis is unlikely to be available in grocery stores. So here’s a simplified recipe I found that uses commonly available ingredients to make something that’s pretty convincingly haggis-like.

That's an interesting read. That disaster has really had a huge impact on football in the UK, and it's still quite prominent in the minds of football fans even decades on

That's more or less the journey I went on when someone told me there was a wild haggis on display in the Kelvingrove Museum :)

Not gonna lie, you had me in the first half 😂 “Wait, haggis is an animal? I thought it was mince meat…” 😂

I recently came across an interesting (or odd/unusual depending on your view) article related to the Hillsborough disaster: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-merseyside-65894474.amp
