i’m pretty sure some hotels do have laundry rooms to do laundry i’ve been to japan multiple times and always do laundry at the hotel!

i guess something that may not be common knowledge about japan is although the country is extremely advanced in terms of technology and things, they are still a Very paper based country, hence the use of physical money and the JR ticket fiasco. I’m not sure why this is, but i’ve heard they’re trying to get the ball rolling with making everything (i.e paperwork, things of that nature) to be electronic based eventually, but this may take a bit.
