Still awaiting response for PBU regarding hosting. Been looking for methods to speed up sprite creation and so I was playing around with DAZ. Here's a quick animation put together while trying to learn the basic controls and workflow. This high res animation features default models. Should I use this technique for our games I will definitely make originals. The good thing about it is the animations can be fluid, highly reusable, multi angular and takes less time if they won't be made from scratch. Plus, if I spend more time on it, it can be much more fluid and nice. So yeah, maybe a 3d game is in the queues, maybe I'll use 3d graphics for the next SIMSEH? Spill your thoughts in the box! :-)
The loop has no loader, please wait for it to load to see the full animation
All models in the clip are fictitious and are over 18 and above legal age
Improvement plans:
- Learn how to modify facial expressions
- If it's not too much trouble and resource demand, make the hairs move
- Learn how to use cartoon shaders to match old simseh styles
- Learn to make custom models
