I think the relaunch of Free Art Friday has been a great success so far. So thank you to all you patrons who make it possible. We're in the final stretch to reach 400$ by May, and therefore four Free Art Fridays a month, and it seems possible. It was 303$ this morning, and after three generous new pledges, we're at 353$! So any help spreading the word is much appreciated. In more exciting news, I have finally started my densely illustrated Nyarlathotep, finishing my quadrilogy of Lovecraft prose-poems, with Memory, Ex Oblivione, What The Moon Brings, and now finally this. Nyarlathotep will be the longest of all the densely illustrated editions, probably over 50 illustrations. I'm chewing on two plans, interlocked. One is launching the four books together in Montreal, Canada, in early August. Hopefully I'll be there for something cool, and tying this launch into it would be awesome. Montreal is on the utmost outskirts of Lovecraft territory, together with Quebec the only places he visited outside of USA, and the prose poems are on the outskirts of Lovecraft's work. So it's a natural fit. Fingers crossed. I'm also considering launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund the printing of the books. Not for profit, just for being able to print them offset, not print on demand, and thereby having the possibility of selling them far more widely than my earlier self published stuff. Let me know what you think. I'll be updating soon with more Nyarlathotep stuff, and perhaps a pretty cool metal related job...
