Today's art is for sale for 200$ as part of the @artistsupportpledge #artistsupportpledge as started by @matthewburrowsstudio on Instagram. For every 1000$ I sell for, I will purchase artwork from another artist for 200$. Already I've earned 600$ of 1000$, so hopefully soon we'll be shopping for new art for our walls.
Today's shout out goes to the marvelous Rotting Christ, not because everyone has to like this band, even though they're awesome, or because they need your support, even though they probably deserve it. But because when the lockdown was a fact, and Rotting Christ, a heavily touring band, had to cancel a whole bunch of shows they would have earned their living on, they didn't ask for anything, but instead Sakis Tolis announced that they'd be selling their official tour T-shirts for the cancelled tour, and that all the profit would go to the World Health Organization. That is an example we can all aspire to.
