Today's art is for sale for 200$ as part of the @artistsupportpledge #artistsupportpledge as started by @matthewburrowsstudio on Instagram. For every 1000$ I sell for, I will purchase artwork from another artist for 200$. I've just earned my first1000$, so we'll be shopping for artwork by another #artistsupportpledge artist tonight. Then on towards 2000$.
Today’s shout out is to the distinguished Dark Art Society. The Dark Art Society was originally a podcast by Chet Zar and Mike Correll, now just run by Chet, and evolved into a little society of like minded artists.
For artists such as me, drawn to the dark side of things, it is seriously an invaluable resource. I’ve gotten direct sales through the group, business opportunities, open and closed calls for exhibitions, and I’ve been exposed to so many great artists and such deep knowledge there.
To join the secret society group, both on the hidden Facebook page and their website, all you have to do is support their Patreon campaign with a dollar or more a month.
