#Coronart day 30: Stronger.
Added 2020-04-11 19:43:16 +0000 UTCI was on the verge of a hypomanic episode as I started my #coronart challenge. Everything was easy, too easy. So easy it couldn't last. In my bipolar cycles, the highs are often short and disastrous, immediately followed by a crash into the depths of depressed. This time I fought the hypomania. Through exercise, routine, drawing, meditation, discipline, through my beloved wife and family, through sheer willpower and determination and fuckoffishness, I kicked hypomanias ass.
I didn't loose control, I didn't fly off I didn't loose nights of sleep, I kept myself together and landed softly. And now, after a week or so if normalicy, I can hear depression cone a'knockin. Knocking hard. Not the disastrous crash, just the familiar gentle chokehold tightening it's grip. But through keeping my routine, my exercise, my drawing, my meditation, my loved ones, keeping an open and watchful eye, I will kick depression ass. Because everything I do is making me stronger.
