Yesterday we discussed moving my grandmother from "cure" to "care" treatment. Basically, instead of going after aggressive treatments to prolong her life at all costs (which her living will, and she herself in conversation, both oppose), we are going to try and make her as comfortable as possible while she dies.
Without discussing too much about my personal life, she's a huge part of my life. I've lived with her since about 2009, and since my mom died in 2012 she's been more like a mother than a grandmother to me. Her passing is going to mean a major overhaul in my day to day life, and is definitely going to impact my time to draw and create content. Eventually I'll settle into a new normal and throw myself back into art full steam like I prefer to do, but until then it'll be touch-and-go. I'm going to focus on the stuff I have to do (commissions, Patreon rewards), and hopefully you all will continue to support me until I get back into the swing of things. I was really happy to see my support hit 100 Patrons this week, and the pledge amount hit $700. I will do my very best to make sure you all get returns on your investment.
