Tales from Treehollow, or TfTs , are short canon* comics and short stories drawn by guest artists for the Tamberlane Patreon! Each comic/story is released via private message on Patreon as a PDF download. The PDF often contains not only the illustrated short story or 5-page guest comic, but behind-the-scenes artwork and writeups, extra lore and worldbuilding, and lots of awesome stuff you don't get to see in the main comic!
TfTs are released on an as-completed basis, and simultaneously released for sale on the Tamberlane Shop, as well as for free to any current $10 or higher Patrons through private message. For comics, 50% of all sales go to the artist who drew them, and 30% to the writer. So purchasing them from the shop supports independent creators -- thank you!
Note: Patrons will only receive free TfTs released while they are actively pledging in order to support the indie artists who bring them to life!

Q: What are these bonus comics and stories?
A: I've always wanted to do more canon, bonus comics but my disability keeps me from making as many main comic pages as I want, much less extra ones! So when we have good ideas for a story, we hire a guest artist to draw a short canon comic or illustrations for a story written by either me or my co-writer Ari "Metajoker" Noble! They often come packed with lore and commentary, as well as bonus behind the scenes art (as available).
Q: Is this a new comic/story, or one that was already released?
A: This is a brand new comic/story!
Q: How do I access this comic? Is it available now?
A: The comics and stories are made as available, and as soon as they are ready for release, they are sent to active $10 Patreon Members!
If you're pledging at $20 or above when the TfT is released, your name will be credited in the thank-you page for your generosity!
Once the TfT is distributed, I will always drop a post that lets folks know the messages have gone out. That way if folks didn't get it, they can reach out and let me know.
Q: Is it only for new patrons?
A: Nope! This is for ALL patrons at $10 and above! You just have to be pledging at $10 or above at the time a TfT releases to receive it.
Q: Is there any way I can get previous months' TfTs?
A: You may purchase previous months' TfTs on the shop!
Q: How do you decide on the guest artists?
A: First priority for me is to showcase the talents of the others in Foxglove Comics. After that, I have a handful of friends and contacts I'm able to ask, and I occasionally poll folks for artist ideas. There are a number of other artists that folks have we've been hopeful for, and once I've had a chance to reach out to them, we'll find out how feasible they are. Cross your fingers!
