Man you got me a believer in Wiseman... “here I go again”

Nah that’s a great point.. the kid is tough and proved it right away breaking out of that slump. But really take BAP even if he was a pg, you telling me you don’t take Tre or Luka because of Steph? That’s how you get in trouble imo.

As someone who does not really watch much college ball, I hella appreciate you dropping this video, as well as all the individual videos! Considering his last eight games or so before the lockdown, Poole seemed to be following your projection that with DLo gone, Poole’s true powers as a point guard started coming out and the extra time with the ball in his and seemed to settle him offensively. On one of your latest pods, you seemed to imply that Poole, Lee, Mulder and Bowman shouldn’t stop the Dubs from trying to get Edwards, if he’s the guy they want/can get. I get Lee, Mulder and Bowman but I feel like post-All-Star Poole showed signs that next year’s back up guard spot is his to lose and I’d argue the way he got out of the “lowest FG percentage in league history” says something about his character and mental capacity to survive in the NBA. Hard to know exactly how the college play will translate for Edwards (think Stevie made that comment?). What are your thoughts on Edwards versus Poole?

This is exactly my same board as well, 10/10. Agree on Ball 100%. It's like you read my mind😂

Very solid take. I really think if Wiseman played all season he’d be locked in there. But who knows! Will Bob and Steve get to see Avdija in person? They may view Haliburton as more Iguodala like.

My board has been pretty similar. I think a combine setting would be helpful to decide between Edwards and Wiseman. I'd want a closer look at Wiseman's jumper and aggression against better competition before taking him first overall. I also have Avidja over Okongwu primarily because I don't see a difference in positional fit/upside compared to Chriss. Considering we're probably not getting top 2 Avdija is my most likely pick. He can step in immediately to help offset the loss of Iggy's playmaking and wing defense. Given his size he projects to pan out nicely alongside Wiggins and he would be Draymond's heir positionally, skillset wise, and emotionally. That's someone I'd like to find sooner than later because Draymond will likely age out(production wise) faster than Steph and Klay.

That has crossed my mind as well. Though it seems like he has a way better feel than DJ ever did.

There are a lot of people that feel that way. I think if he would of played this year he would he would have stake claim to #1. He could be an AD like talent. Of course it’s a risk, but in a draft with no other real sure thing....

I wonder what’s a good percentage as a GM? It’s got be like FT right... 70-80 your good, 90+ your elite...50-60 get out

I just don’t see the point of drafting Wiseman (even in top 5, let alone number one). It is unlikely that he can even be as good as Deandre Aston in the first few years, and even he is, what for? You don’t draft center in this NBA unless it is obviously generational talent like AD or Embid.

I totally agree with Wiseman being number 1.......that being said, I PRAY he's not just a Damian Jones 2.0

He is a center.. KD is a unicorn. If he completely maxed out his potential think a bigger AD.

Spotlight yes.. being held accountable no. He has been allowed to do whatever he wants on every team with very little consequence. That’s probably why he is so creative. But how will he respond to being yanked, or losing min to someone?

Is there any chance Wiseman will become a hybrid of Ayton and KD? How scary that can be?

Okongwu is a much more proven defender at this point. Wiseman could turn into a nuclear rim protector. The kind that has everyone seeing ghosts. But Okongwu should be solid day 1 and more versatile.

Watching the warriors vs Toronto and this season’s games against LA, LAC, Bucks and Miami, I feel like size, athleticism and defense is seriously lacking for the warriors. For me that narrows it down to Wiseman and Okongwu. Who’s the better defender in your opinion Alch?

We have all those 2nd rd picks Bob stockpiled. But I doubt that would get it done. Hard to say, if your going from 3 to 1 and the team already doesn’t want the same guy. Might not cost an arm and a leg.

I would trade up if we dont get the first pick in this draft, just to get wiseman, even at his floor he's exactly what we need, but with all the rumours coming out about the warriors and who they want I'm worried that ain't going to happen and that they wouldn't mind slipping to a 5th spot.

Hi Alchemy, nice work! I wonder what would be the odds for Warriors to trade the pick (if it is No. 1) for someone like Collins from the Hawks?

Hey Alch, been a patreon with you since 2017! my whole family recognizes your voice when i watch a new video. i'm grateful to have been along for the journey seeing your content grow. i was telling my sister about how in depth you go researching these prospects and she was amazed. she asked me if you wanted to eventually become an analyst of some sort associated with an organization, but i wasn't sure. what are your goals long term with this?

Thanks.. Haliburton or Avdija are secondary creators. Edwards in theory could become that. But he is a chucker at heart.

Great breakdown man! Thinking from the Warrior's perspective, I'd want them to pick someone like Luka Doncic / Iggy. Someone who's like a second or third ball handler, great at pushing the pace, making excellent decisions with passing, and highly skilled.

James Wiseman is the guy I would go with and my brains is telling me Haliburton would be a very nice pick up too. You can't really make some one smarter. Deni would be cold with the splash brothers too. Love the big board!

Thanks man! I have! I wonder how it will effect Deni’s stock if teams can’t see him in person. there is something to seeing the kids up close for a good ol fashion size up, shoulders, hands, thickness. That’s what I was trying to get at in the video, when it comes to the prospects overseas.

If we get a wing/guard, it has to be someone with a high iq and innate athleticism. It seems to me that players with high iq’s figure themselves out quicker and better, while pure athletes don’t.

As for the Ball's, immersed in basketball from the crib and they both have highly unorthodox suspect shot mechanics and a parent forever in their ear? No thanks. LaMello, sure I'd draft him if I had a trade set up to move him to some team that wanted him and he was never to wear a Warrior uniform.
