Coach Nick also mentions how Giannis used to have a dip which he learned from Greek coaches. I'm not sure if the lack of a dip is a european thing. Now his base is super wide, he has no energy transfer from his lower body, and his release is effed up. I can't imagine how good Giannis would be if he had his old form back.

I think once Dray's presence is reinserted into the rotation, it will a positive impact on Curry's rhythm. It's something that maybe we've overlooked when thinking about trading Dray, is how comfortable Steph is with dumping the ball to Dray and running circles.

unfortunately kerr is one of the more stubborn coaches in basketball, so the offense will still start with steph bringing up the ball and giving it up to draymond, while draymond looks to pass and being left open at 3. But the good thing is some adjustments were already made, more pick-n-roll and handoffs.

Knowing it’s only preseason and players are fighting for roster spots, it really did feel like a harken back to strength in numbers. Bench had good energy. If that becomes the identity again with all that youth, defense and athleticism, I’m here for it.

Nico looked sped up in the game when it came to his shooting. But that was expected as he comes in and faces true NBA caliber players for the first games. I was hoping he'd make some of those shots, but those misses were not unexpected. I really wanted that layup to go in. I liked how he handled the ball and his vision on the field though. A lot of those threes came from a Nico pass. Just seems to understand where people are.. at least that's what I can see from a few moments in a preseason game. :p

I didn't know Lacob's son found Smiley.......hmmmm I hate the split screen! Myers & Lacob lost their train of thought a bit while watching the game anyway so what's the point. I like the extra space at the sidelines. Gives the players at the bench more room to cheer and walk around.

So happy to see them play. I love smaligic and jta i just feel like they were the weak links. They showed hustle and some smart plays but then showed horrible plays that were rushed. I think like u said smiley here to stay but jta man i like him and who he is but he just not were we need him to be yet.

Is it really important to change Paschall's shooting mechanics alch? I don't remember him being a bad shooter last season. It just looks like this shooting form is ingrained into him and teaching him a new mechanic might mess with his confidence more. Mulder is good, he just can't shoot off the dribble. Our defense is looking good.

The new kids on the team don't seem to be looking for the chef, and I'm pretty concerned about that. In the Warriors of the old the ball swings but everyone knows it's just a distraction and will be ending up in the chef's hands. In Kelly's second corner three, Paschall could've passed to Steph but didn't, it's at 3:46 on your video. I feel like the old warriors ran action to get Steph and Klay open, no one's ball watching, but now most players are just watching the ball instead of watching the off ball action. Maybe it's pre-season but I hate to see Steph's wasted efforts.

sweet breakdown Alch. Loving the length and the D. Oubre looks like he could develop into a lockdown defender on ball. Poole looked nice too and we can use him taking up some solid minutes to give Steph a rest. I was a little disappointed with Paschall. He looked a little chunky to me as well as the shot showing no mechanical improvements.

Mulder and Mannion were a nice boost in this preseason game. Mulder can get crazy hot like Klay, only fitting his name is like Klay's dad. My biggest takeaway from this game was Good LORD I can't listen to our broadcast. Chatty, cringe, corny, fanboy...get them out! I was watching muted.

Liked the defensive intensity from all in the first half. Wannamaker played better than I thought he would, Poole was very good, Smiley was indeed wretched on D. Dubs seem to know to a man (I'm sure they've been told by the staff) that if they really want to compete this year everybody one will have to give Max D effort all the time.
