About Steph in the 4th - Kerr said postgame that he had to do an end of 3rd quarter interview and when he got back Q, Mike & Jarron had decided to put Steph in for at least one possession.

My favourite part of the game last night was EP defensively, he was communicating rotations constantly to that second unit, defenitly learning from Dray, And doing great on an individual level hold his own against bigger and smaller guys. I still worry about the Clippers lack of play making. I feel like if they face a good defensive team and the game is close, they will be reduced to Kawhi and PG isolations that don’t result in creating open shots for others. At least Harden is able to facilitate at an elite level to get teammates shots. But Kawhi and PG don’t create those types of advantages. Maybe Kenard helps a little, but not enough to be on the floor in crunch time.

I agree with u that this might be a defining game of the year. I keep thinking that Wiggins is becoming what he was drafted No. 1 for. No idea before this year that he could shut down people, he might not have known either. I always remember John Wooden saying that a great defender takes the exact same kind of an athlete that makes a great scorer. To that why can't Kelly and Dray play on O. And Kawhi has slowed down, he's still too strong to guard but his feet have really slowed.

This game was more satisfying than the 62 point game. Crazy Stat: Golden State is currently 19th in 3pt%. If Kelly Oubre had not shot any 3s this season, they’d be 4th. Looney and Draymond being utter shooting liabilities is something we kinda got used to but at the same time, still immeasurably disappointing.

Biggest difference between these two games was no Oubre or Wiseman to close the game. You need fundamentals against such a talented, defensive, slow-paced team, and their freak athleticism couldn't make up for their lack of feel in the first game. Much more excusable for Wiseman, Oubre is... idk man. Could Paschall start to creep his way into an Iguodala-type role of coming off the bench and finishing big games? It'll of course depend on the game situations and matchups, but a finishing lineup of Steph/DLee/Wig/EP/Dray could be very deadly for closing out. Great floor spacing with elite finishers

Also, I love Wiggins in the mid range, he has a filthy move where he starts a drive from the three point line and then stops on one step into a step back J. I've seen him leave his defender literally face down on the floor a couple times this season with that move and it is a nice tool to have in the bag.

Great video, great game...So many positive takeaways from this game. The coaching was a pleasure to watch and equally how receptive and orderly everyone was during the timeouts. I felt the team was quiet and earnestly listening to Kerr and the staff. Ty Lue totally disappeared in the 4th, I don't believe he even called a timeout during the whole run? That is totally unacceptable in my opinion, what on earth is the strategy there?

I just wanna preface this comment by saying I STILL WILL NOT BE FOOLED by Wanamakers 2 threes. Yes they were timely and important and we needed them. But that doesnt make up for the other dumb shit he does. If he continues to shoot that well and starts to learn to pass, then I'll come around on him. But for now, I'll tip my cap to him for this one game and thats all. On to the game: - Dare I say Wiggins is a lockdown defender? He and Oubre being a 1-2 punch of quick switchable wings is awesome. Its like having two iguodala's on the floor minus the IQ. And I'll definitely take that. Wiggins had a very good game and the way he locked up Kawhi and PG was great. - Oubre continues to struggle. No difference there but his energy and hustle once again prove to be invaluable. - Curry being Curry. - Wiseman was left out of the 4th quarter entirely and I'm actually not mad about it. He still plays well when he's on the court and I am loving his progress. - ERIC. THE MANIMAL. PASCHALL. 6th man the year candidate front runner. The way the dude bullies whoever gets switched on him is awesome to watch. I dont want him starting because I want him to continue to feast on 2nd rotation guys. - A lot of people are calling for Baze to start of Oubre. And I actually disagree. Baze, like Paschall, is better to lead and fuel the second unit. Oubre can hide behind Curry's offense (even when he gets in the way sometimes). But I dont want Oubre to mess with the 2nd unit's lack of shooting. Lee and Mulder arent as reliable as they may appear, and we dont need Oubre sucking minutes from their chemistry.
