I agree with many here, don't trade Kelly, and the last thing we need is another non shooter. Kelly plays hard and loves to defend, his stroke looks good and I love how far he gets to the rim after he picks up his dribble. And you can't teach his Dray like ability to disrupt or steal a dribble. And he's buying in and he's meshing now, I've turned around completely on him. Great teach Alch about James not taking the big boy spot in tight, EP would have taken it. Also Alch point Kelly can Not want to be traded again.

Oubre's statement game really has me excited because: 1) it seems like he really wants to be here 2) that desire bodes well for keeping him next season One thing people aren't bringing up with the "trade rumors" is that we'll have his bird rights next year, and Joey Lightyears would very likely be willing to shell out again if it meant having Oubre coming off our bench (if he would be okay with that). Too bad Klay isn't out there against Okogie, we could have had Spongebob's house vs. Squidward's house

You shit on Steve from time to time, and I agree with it usually. His rotations are questionable sometimes and he's not great at making in game adjustments. But I think we should also reiterate how good of a player coach he is , I loved how he handled that oubre situation, and u could definitely see how much Kelly appreciated it as well. I don't remember too many stories of coaches going that aggressively against trade rumors. And yeah Mulder isn't looking good rn, but the fact that every player, even in the dynasty days, could be called up and get meaningful minutes, that's the type of stuff that keeps everyone engaged.

That’s 3 games in a row paschall’s been inefficient and ineffective. Coincidentally during that same stretch of time oubre’s been getting loose with the second unit, previously belonging to EP. Do you think it’s a bad stretch or is oubre taking his opportunity? Also if that is the case which would you argue is better off leading the 2nd unit long term?

I'm with you on Mulder's defense but we're going to have to see him as a Korver / Redick type of player with more potential for growth. He shot 40% on something like 11 attempts in the G league and it's translated well to the NBA. It shows in the impact metrics, same with Lee. I want to see Wiseman play a true stretch 5 role like Brook Lopez. When he's in the paint all the time, our offense revolves too much around him. Draymond force feeds him too much in half court offense. Focus on drives, setting screens off of split action + PnR, and taking 3s is what I say we should do with Wiseman.

While it's good that they're sending Poole, Smiley, and Nico to the G-League to get them some experience, I'm a bit concerned about depth. We've been very lucky so far with injuries and COVID missed-games. And the pace is crazy right now ... 4 games a week! Unsure how Steph, Draymond, and Looney are going to be able to keep this up without missing time. After sending away those 3 for the G-League, we'll have a roster of: Curry, Wannamaker, Lee, Mulder ... Wiggins, Oubre, Basemore ... Green, Looney, Wiseman, Anderson. (right?? Am I missing someone?) That's 11 guys. Man, that's thin.

Loved Oubre this game and the past few weeks especially. You mention he has some Rodman in him. He just gets under people's skin and is flamboyant about it which almost makes it worse. It seemed to me he changed the momentum with the Flagrant 2 and then chirping at Layman and getting him to shove him for the offensive foul.

the refs felt bad for steph and let him get away with a Lebron-like travel... On point with the Wiseman extension. It's quite shocking. KD does the same thing at times where there''s not a lot of elevation, just get the ball over the head and slam it home. Difference is Wiseman is comfortable taking off anywhere inside the free throw line... I'm nervous about this suns matchup tho...

OOOOOOOUUUUUBRE! I recant my statement being OK with the Lonzo trade. I think he's shown a lot of progress from the frantic, headless chicken energy we saw early in the season...not seeing any out-of-bounds-turnovers or looking-down-at-your-toes 3pointers. He's still reaching in a lot, but it's pretty effective just so long as he's not getting reach-in fouls at BAD times. Granted, the win is against a weak team, but it feels like the DNA of the team is solidifying and everyone on the team is gelling. Not gonna lie, I'm having more fun this season (thus far) than any other season.

The thing is so many of the shots Curry made this season when he started out cold were the really difficult ones. So many examples like that buzzer beater over LeBron, step back over AD and PG, and a ton of other circus shots. He's missed a lot of open looks. It's a mixed bag imo depending on how relaxed he is. Seemed like he definitely found his rhythm after the first half when he read the tweets
