Do you watch the full game before the breakdowns?

Comments

I've found a reliable site that has the game up right after it's done, and split by quarter. It's hard for me to find the time for every game but what I usually do is check the box score and watch the good quarters, and your breakdown. And now I catch Jason T on the Volume, you should try to collab with him he's a solid basketball mind.

Nathan Glanzer

Work a lot through the week, try to watch recording on the weekends. Watch the breakdowns rather then watching highlights online. You give a better overall flow of the game and commentary always appreciated.

Derrick Criss

I live in Cambodia (American) + I work ridiculous hours. Your breakdowns are how I understand the ebbs and flows of the team. Appreciate you!

Andrew Mam

I'm overseas. Live games are at night for me. But honestly, I don't really watch live sports anymore. Especially when there are all the time outs and add breaks going on. Playoffs, that's when I might stay up for a pivotal game. Or watch it in compressed version the next morning. I do look out for these breakdowns!!! Sometimes I have to delay bedtime, because I know Alch is going to deliver any moment.

Francisco Hazel

When I get the time and chance yeah but I rely on your videos on this platform

DanteXKV

This season we've started avoiding the games where they play like crap. We watch games to be entertained, not annoyed. Your breakdowns, OTOH, are a must-watch -- after the games we do watch, and instead of the games we skip.

Nikhos Garcia

At 50% this season mainly because the new leaguepass app sucks and doesn’t work half the time. Only recently been able to watch a game without error messages

Ken Bradford

Most of the time

Julian Cole

Rarely, games start at 5 am and 3 am since I ive in finland. I tried for a month but my mental health suffered from it. I have been always to watch the playoffs though, less obligation with school and such that time of the year anyways.

Jabets Luis

Always. My wife and I have only missed about 15 live games in the past 7-8 years, but we always watched them later and only afterwards do we watch the breakdowns. It's not always easy, since we're in Europe and games start at 3-4-5 AM, but it's well worth it. Shout-out from Romania!

Adrian B

10 pm start is tough man. I feel for you guys

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

why not? I live in MN and I still watch every game.

Abdi

This year I can't, I live in Montana and couldn't afford league pass. Last year I did though

KuraiT

I live in Minnesota now, so I cant

Lorenzo Fabela

Very rarely but when I do decide to watch some key matchups I put that shit on mute. That way I dont have to listen to fitz/buke , i dont get mad about the calls, and im also able to catch some details like body language/facial expressions/play signalling from coaches/in game conversations etc

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

East coast fan so the games are real late which is good, because it’s after the wife is asleep and late enough that I can finish whatever plans I had then watch the games. I watch the breakdowns usually to reaffirm what I saw and catch some things I may not have noticed or missed.

Edward Green

I'm with StarBoy. When you started watching the Warriors at the onset of the Steph, Dray, Klay years you are used to spending time amidst extraordinary greatness. This year, for a variety of reasons, the results on any given night are a coin toss. If I want to watch a flagging organization plagued with mediocrity, I'll watch Fox News. If that makes me a casual, or a fair weather fan so be it.

Kevin Morris

I always tape the games and watch half to all the same night or I watch the second half the next day. Your video doubles the fun of watching the warriors.

Russ

This year is definitely a sometimes, they're just not that fun to watch this year.

StarBoyYem

Watch it at least twice

Anthony Tsai

East coaster so I fall asleep sometimes and then if I'm impatient I will check if we won, and at that point I just settle for the breakdown lol

Rob00

Games are in the middle of the day here but I usually try to at least catch the highlights even if seems like every basket is a make 🤣

Ben

About 90% of the time, but I really rely on your breakdowns to know what happened if I didn't have time to watch

Gregory Walker

If I can watch I will which is the case a majority of the time but not always. It helps me understand things about the game that I didn't before.

Candice

If can watch the game i’ll watch the game but usually after practice or a game i get home late so I’ll catch the ending and just wait till the breakdown to see how it played out. Regardless I watch every breakdown for the analysis

Brad30

I watch probably 90% of the games and only miss them when I have a conflict. But most of the time I watch them recorded a few hours after they air or the next day. Then I watch your video almost immediately after. Your videos are much better when context is understood!!

Jansen E

This team is kinda unwatchable. They're not bad bad, so its not a young guys showcase. Theyre also not good enough to enjoy it 90% of the time. Not really worth spending my free time getting frustrated at such an average and frustrating team.

Savino

Most of the time I’m at work when the games are on, so rarely for me.

Derrick Maples

I've watched literally every single game since KD signed. Have to repay the basketball gods for the superteam.

Major Powers

I only skip if I’m really busy and it’s not a fun match up. Or if I saw most of the game and it was a beatdown either way (unless it’s against a good team)

Andres Lozano

Can’t always watch 3am games living in England, but I’d always watch the Patreon rather than those 12 minute YouTube highlights when I wake up. Been watching the Patreon since your first video! Keep up the good work mate!

Joshua Fayemi

I try to at least catch part of the radio broadcast, but never miss an Alc recap

DW

I watch most of the games. If they lose, I never watch commentary accept for these.

Mmii8

No way am I spoiling my day when the main guys don't care, I just check the record, if its an L I would rather wait for the breakdown. I only commit when its playoffs like our main guys.

topstreams

Same here. I live in NC so games are usually on too late for me. Your breakdowns and reading The Athletic are my way of keeping up with the storylines of the season.

Brian Relph

I feel you bro

Shawn Palmer

I'm in the sometimes range because lately I've become so frustrated watching them play. I can accept that losses happen but sloppy careless losses drive me crazy.

David Y

I don't miss any games. some I have to watch delayed, but I still watch them all

somekindarobit

Yes! I watch all Warriors games. I have the NBA League Pass and NBA TV as well as regular cable to ensure I can see any game. I even take my Firestick overseas so I can watch from anywhere.

Strong Foru

Haven’t watched a live game in years. Currently living in Ireland so the breakdowns are so great to really know what happened in a game as the youtube highlights don’t tell you about mood and key details. I also read the athletic

Gary

Last night was literally the first game in ages I haven’t watched before your takes. Having only been able to catch the end live, I honestly didn’t have it in me to go back and watch the whole thing like I always do. IMHO, I agree w Marcus who points out the need to go deeper in the bench to preserve the juice for our older core, especially to close. DDV, JK, JP, Lamb can all play more trustworthy minutes, and I’m in favor of PBJ, Wise, Ty, and Moody getting minutes with this goal in mind. They looked gassed, both legs and mentally. Shots short, more Bonehead decisions on both ends. Denver gonna be a tough watch, most likely, though Nuggs are also on a B2B.

Chip Tingle

I needed an almost always button. 😬

Kirk Leavy

Rarely miss .. I miss when we loose ugly ( I don't want to revisit it )

Girish K

Most if not all

Shamir Wilson

95% of the time

Daniel Fries

I try to catch every game, but don't always get the chance. So like 75% of games

james v

About 50% of the games although I don't usually get a chance to turn it on until halftime. 100% of breakdowns though.

Aceec

Me 2

Murugu Venkat

I said always but its truly about 85% live, a few from games I record.

Jerry Heverly

Being based in the UK I'm 8hrs ahead. I cannot watch a game I know is over (the next morning say) so j love your breakdown. I try stay up for playoffs if work permits

Calum Stapleton

Oh wow, that's a lot of people who say yes.. that's pretty impressive.

Ivan (Vanya) Kashperuk

I’m in college rn so it only depends if I get the time

Macdonald Zharima

Living in Switzerland, I usually watch good match us in the regular season as a replay and all playoff games live at like 4 AM

Nico Mauri

This season is so frustrating.

JW

have to admit i don't watch often when they lose. just deepens the pain lol.

David Munro

I watch the recording if i was at work and couldnt watch it live, but when i see we lost, i just watch the game breakdowns the next day

Slik

Been watching every game since about 2012, love the Dubs, just found your breakdowns after you appeared on "Locked on Warriors". Love your analysis, we see the game the same way. Watching this year is so different, a soup/stew analogy is apropos, in the past there were ingredients that worked together making a delicious meal, this year a bunch of weird veggies and meat that may taste great with a longer simmer or it may end up rancid.

Anthony Berry

"Often" is most applicable. Usually am able to watch 75% live. 100% Alc though 🤝

Alex H

As I live in the UK I struggle to watch games that start at like 2/3am. So your videos are invaluable to me in keeping up to date

Ethan Collumbell

have watched 95% of full games live since 15-16, even after moving from Oakland to Chicago...up late for home games. Thank you, appreciate you!

Dean Abt

Knowing that you'll have these breakdowns, it's like I have an even better reason to watch the game now. I always always watch it before, especially to see if we gone talk the same shit about the same players like them J. Williams boys in OKC lmao.

TJ Maccc

If I can I watch every game. Life does get in the way-gigs and family do come first

Paul Hanson

If I’m unable to watch the game I always count on your breakdowns to have everything in them that I missed. Best warrior breakdown analyst out there and it’s not even close

Ben D

Full games when i get home around 10 and fall asleep a little after thr last buzzer. Unfortunately a game like last night makes me want to not watch a game for awhile but its a great late night ritual.

ThizzK!D

Uncle Alc, I watch all the breakdowns multipe times a day. Love the commentary, and I usually agree with most of your takes. Keep up the great work.

Anthony

Try to watch every game by recording to DVR. Only part I don't watch are when they go to OT, bc we all know they're losing 9 times out of 10.

Nick Elliston

I've been watching ALL the breakdowns for at least 3 years.

k. marcelous

I watch the full game most of the time but on the days work gets in the way I definitely rely on these videos to give me what I missed! I like when you build up the game & don’t give away the ending for that very reason! Cus most times I don’t get to catch the game I come right here for it! Keep up the good work big dog! 💪🏾💪🏾

ThizzK!D

I have literally seen a full game only once, and have no plans to do it again.

Michel ten Voorde

No cap 😭😭

richard phan

agreed

Jmoee Buckzz

Factsss

richard phan

Most of the time I watch the games live, then the next day watch Alch's breakdown

YANCEY WADE

With the way they’ve been losing leads lately I’ll mostly just tune in for the breakdown. It hurts watching the dubs constantly shoot themselves in the foot.

Neotokyo

Almost always but it’s dope knowing if I miss it I got a breakdown coming the next day so it’s all good

Connor H

If I’m not a work and gym I definitely catch the game. If not, I know I got Alch to come in clutch and gimme what I need to know 💪🏾

KendrickTheCreative

Yup and spoil my evenings most times this season.

Siddhant S

If I’m not able to catch the game, the breakdowns are a great condensed recap of what actually happened.

Herman Ostergard

I live in Europe so its hard to catch the games

Johannes Paju

Whenever i got time to catch it

Kosta Herman

Can you add a "never" option for me

joss gitlin

When I have the time, yes
