God dayum look at the post game vibes :)

Shea Johnson

He's got some KG to him

Athletic Alchemy

What up Ciara good to hear from you

Athletic Alchemy

true true.. I do think Klay's routine is more consistent, steph can rush and break his more often. But the % speak for them selves

Athletic Alchemy

appreciate it Jacob! Always trying to get better

Athletic Alchemy

Good to hear form you Chip!

Athletic Alchemy

+1 vote for "Super Dario"

Kenneth

I’m a little traumatized from Klay missing 2 vs Memphis game 1. But never recall Steph missing a free throw in the clutch

Luke Zhang

Him explaining to Kelenna why he HAS to say that bc “warriors fans don’t know who’s j-will and who’s j-dub” was comedy 😂 like bro idk which one of these ugly mfs went to Santa Clara and which one went to arkansas

Luke Zhang

Been missing your breakdowns until now for no good reason…brilliant as ever, Alch! Agreed on the special vibes and chemistry, having fun with highest expectations together. And I didn’t see CP3 having this big, immediate impact on both units. HOF cred shown nightly, and beautiful unselfishness, as opposed to…

Chip Tingle

yeah pretty insane. tons of flexibility moving forward

Mikey H

There’s something special about this team. A very familiar feeling indeed.

nicky dimes

That Klay spill made my heart skip a beat. The CP3 trade is looking like pure genius right now. We've made a huge leap forward in terms of decision making, poise, and overall team cohesion. Love how Kerr is both playing the 2nd unit as a block of 5 and also harnessing the skill-set of one or more 2nd unit players, as the occasion requires, to mix in with a couple of starters. There definitely is a familiar vibe in the air. On an unrelated note, I really like this Chet dude. For starters his game is pretty damn impressive, perhaps not quite at the level of San Antonio's newest frog but close. He plays smart and consistent and at times he even bedazzles us but always without the slightest bit of self-congratulating: no celebratory dances, no belittling/shit-talking the defender he just burned, no whining to the refs. And did you notice when he picked Steph up off the floor? The kid's got class! Maybe that's not the "winning" attitude necessary for success at this level but I found it inspiring nonetheless. I hope his play and approach will continue to awe us for years to come. Go Warriors, Go Alch!

Childe Costa

Great analysis as always Alc!

Ciara Dean

“Young Abe Lincoln”. 🤣

Joan McErlean

It's gone ever since Poole left 😭😭

Jeffry

Super Dario Sha-rich ! 😀

Neba Jorgacevic

FYI, in China we call Chet and Wemby the Chopstick brothers

Qiushi Hu

Steph over Klay at the FT line, and beyond the obvious statistical reasons. I was at Game 1 against Memphis in 2022 when Klay missed both free throws leaving us up just 1 with 6 seconds to go. He hit a huge 3 just before that and made the big defensive play against Ja to seal it. But missing both FTs. Gotta go with Steph now and forever.

Ryan Farber

Safe to say, gone are the days of 20+ turnover games??

AK

“We got something brewin.” YOU got something brewin alch. You’re truly at the top of your game with the breakdowns and mini pods. Full steam ahead man, I’m a lifer.

Jacob

of course!

Jerry Heverly

Hallelujah, Draymond's actually getting it done. Winning this game definitely felt like the mojo was back. I think as long as everyone gets plenty of rest and no one gets burned out, we have as good a chance this season as any. Great to see everyone having fun out there. Are we good enough to take on Denver and the Celtics? Remains to be seen, but we have the potential, it's not out of reach.

Neal X

It's night and day how much more fun these guys are having on the court -- and how much more fun I'm having watching them play. Chemistry is a thing.

Bobby D

Bench scoring was 57-37 in favor of the Warriors. We also have the highest net rating amongst NBA benches (+8) all while playing the most bench minutes in the league. The "Strength in Numbers" mantra is back baby!

Jimmy Ji

There's also a built-in week off to factor in the elimination round. Teams who miss the tournament get an extra week or so of rest so it could potentially be a disadvantage to make the tournament.

Jimmy Ji

This was one of those games where you really couldve used TJD. Im disappointed in the decision to send them away for this road trip. We have a back to back coming up and they didnt think theyd need the youth???? Cmon man. That said, this was one of the craziest games Ive ever seen. Ive never seen a team shoot 65%+ for WHOLE GAME and still somehow lose. I felt like OKC never missed throughout the entire game at all. GP2 being in at the end was HUGE. I think they lose if thats Looney and not GP2. I hope that blown switch by Kuminga doesnt make Kerr lose trust in him to play in him in those late game "defense-only" moments. Kuminga had a great game and yeah that brain fart cant happen.....but Im hoping Kuminga learns and Kerr keeps trusting him for that. I cant believe Im saying it but my goodness CP3. What an insane addition to this bench unit right now. 13 assists. 1 pt. 0 TOs. Thats just fucking crazy and beautiful. My biggest complaint with this game is Saric's and Wiggins defense. Both of them are getting beat with ZERO moves and ZERO resistance. Theyre just letting guys walk right by them and I dont know why. I get Saric is trying to avoid foul trouble but dude has been charmin soft when contesting at the rim. You cant do that at 6'10. And Wiggins....Idk what his problem is. He's supposed to be our best wing defender and he may actually be our worst so far this season. Finally. Moody has been so good that Im starting to get worried if teams are gonna start to try to inquire about him and poach him off this team. Warriors will lose 1 of these back to back games. I'll be annoyed eitehr way. Cuz I really think we shouldve kept Trayce and Podz.

Jansen E

I'm starting a GoFundMe to replace the both of them.

Stevie Ray

This roster is fucking wild. especially considering they have more picks than half the league.

Stevie Ray

when you are dedicated to small-ball, games are by definition an adventure. it looks bad sometimes, even when they result in wins.

Stevie Ray

dude he's crafty I was super low on him coming out of the draft and now he's one of my favorite young role players in the West.

Stevie Ray

I might go insane if I have to hear goddamn Bob say "Arkansas J Williams" and "Santa Clara J Williams" again. I was full body clenching last night

james v

We've known for a while that whenever Draymond scores double digits, the Dubs are just tough to beat. If he's gonna shoot even league average from 3 for the season, that changes everything.

Stevie Ray

Nahh, there's nothing chet shows that more impressive than Wemby aside from maybe being more durable. Wemby already out here playing like a dpoy candidate.

Jacob

This game might have been the craziest shot making I've ever seen, no one could miss. It wasn't even like we played trash defensively, a little iffy at points but nowhere near as bad as the 70 percent shooting OKC was at.

KuraiT

It's Curry lol. Klay is very clutch too but Curry's clutch gene is underrated just like LeBron's. I deadass can't remember when Curry has missed an important freethrow, it might be bias but i can't remember lol. Also great breakdown once again.

ChizzyTheKid

that Ewing effect is BS, or it never plays ou that way for the warriors. When curry was sitting out the 19-20 season- the team went from a finals team to dead last in the league. My guess is that if SGA was projected out for the season, thunder would be projected as a non play in team. Heck- they are only a .500 team with him

Adrian

Something personal must be going on with Wiggins he doesn't seem constantly focused. The turnovers are a issue, but hey they are figuring it out.

Keith Reynolds Jr.

Dubs got a lot of work still to do, especially on the defense. But I like the feel so far. And I heard that Steph is averaging 31 minutes a game, which is OUTSTANDING. Let's keep that going until April if we can.

John Pettus

I was thinking that exact same thing when Alc mentioned it! I honestly thought Klay would miss 1 of them..

David Y

This team is so much stronger when Draymond’s a credible scoring threat.

Ejikeme Uzoigwe

ALC go watch the end of the 2022 playoff vs Memphis game 1, then you'll have your answer of who you'd rather have at the line. lol.

A m a r Singg

Ahh okay. I'm from North America so I assume most of us pronounce it as sar-itch, either way doesn't really matter lol

Crimson

I saw someone from Croatia say on last games vid the S is a sh sound, I'm not certain myself, just quoting here, but off that I've been saying shar-itch

Evan French

TJD is already coming back dude. Warriors fans need to chill over these young players. They are winning and the goal is to WIN NOW while Steph is around.

A m a r Singg

As Alch has talked about before, the Ewing effect is a real thing that happens all the time

Logan Blanton

I don’t know if you’re the originator, Alch, but “super Dario“ is definitely something to keep. Great breakdown.

Patrick Kennedy

it's 6 groups of 5, each team plays 4 games (2 home, 2 road) , after those games the team with the most wins in each group moves on and 2 wildcards are selected those teams being who had the 2nd most wins in their group. And then single elimination starts

Branden Edwards

Who is the idiot who decided to send TJD down? Mobley should send that person a thank you card. I stole this from another YouTube channel (hope the author isn’t angry): GARY PAYTON THE SECOND, IN THE CLUTCH: 1:28 (Left in the game) On defense, knocks a pass out of bounds. 1:18 Still on D, disrupts a pass, causing havoc 1:10 Same possession, locks up Giddey for the jump ball 1:10 Wins the tip. 58: Sets a great pick to give Steph a lane to the basket 42: Back on defense, steal, knocks the ball loose to Klay 26: Back on offense, sets a screen to get the play started for Steph, then cuts to the rim 22: Converts Draymond's alley-oop pass for a layup. When was the last time Draymond shot eleven shots in aa game? Trivia: who led the Warriors in rebounds this game? (It wasn’t Draymond, Saric, Wiggins, Klay, GP2 or JK)

Jerry Heverly

same. It's pretty hard to deny the impact he's having on everyone. I kinda love him now 😅

Mikey H

his shot looks good. way less backpackie

Mikey H

I still just can’t get over how much fun it is to watch the chode on this squad. I hated this dude for years and now he’s just been looking like such a perfect fit

Connor H

And.... CP already accepting that he'll come off the bench most of the time and being obviously okay with it because it leds to wins and he wants to win.

Steven Stanley

im taking Curry for clutch freethrows all day

james moore

I swear it’s not bc of steph but yeah chet is my favorite non warrior player in the league rn.. I can tell he compares himself to Wemby.. he might be the KG to Wemby’s Tim Duncan one day as they develop and have so much love and dedication to the game

Offtopic K

Someone on the coaching staff is watching the AA channel ! https://twitter.com/NBCSWarriors/status/1720908805591245107

Alon Altman

Gotta say that Presti is prob the goat draft picker. They're a pretty perfectly built team. Thunder are gonna be a problem

Mikey H

was crazy. think OKC shot 60% from the field when it was all done. overcoming that is pretty huge

Mikey H

The telltale signs of things being different this year were Draymond essentially saying he wasn’t happy about the rooks being sent down to Santa Cruz and Steph and Klay dancing arm and arm after the game winner. The joy for the game and one another is definitely all the way back

Coreyy

Encouraging to see Kerr give Kuminga more run in the second after that rough first, and he kept us afloat with some really timely baskets. Klay seems to be rounding into form and picking up on the vibes of the team. I agree with Draymond we needed TJD tonight and throughout this road trip. He’s gonna force his way onto the court bc he’s just an element we don’t have in the front court.

Luke Zhang

Hell of a game. I think the send down to Santa Cruz is a rite of passage for the young guys. The call out is not to be ignored though from draymond. Those rooks should be amped and ready to contribute after this road trip

Vittorio Servino

I dont think every game needs to be an adventure. When an inferrior team has their best player out, warriors should just dominate that game. The good shooting was caused by horrendous defense by golden state.

Adrian

how the hell did we let giddey cook so many times - wiggs and kuminga gotta body his ass up - its not like this dude is giannis

Alex Lee

This was our first "fake shooting" game of the year, and we survived it. We would've lost by 15+ last szn. It's ironic that fans were complaining about OKC being "robbed" considering Dort got away with a clear tripping foul on Steph at the start of the 3rd that would've been his 4th, instead he lights us up and of course the no calls for Curry at the end, but aye we won. Btw, easiest way to pronounce Dario's name is "Sar-itch." Good breakdown fam.

Crimson

Hella fun game. Dort had his best game but still ended up being cooked by the chef at the end.

James George

Am i crazy if i say 2016 draymond loading?

Victor Inoa

Initially I would think that this shouldn’t have been close. But when you consider that OKC shot over 50% from 3, and Lu Dort had the game of his life, you can’t be mad at the game, especially since we came out with the win. As CP3 said, it’s good to keep coming out with wins while they’re still working on schemes and such. Crazy play from Steph! Giddy touched the net before Draymond touched the rim, so it could have been called goaltending anyways on OKC.
