The cure is true team play in a true motion offense, just like G League Dubs run. They find the open player frequently when they run their offense. The more they depend on Steph, the worse the team looks and the worse individual player look.

I think you’re absolutely correct that nobody’s worried about his first step, but I’d prefer Podz programmed that particular move into his body that way. It might not create actual space, but it does give him half a second where the defensive player’s mind has to compensate. Podz is a slower, more deliberate player a lot of the time, unless he’s pushing the pace. But it’s kind of false advertising because his mind moves faster than his body does. Defensive players let their guard down because they don’t perceive him as a threat. So great that Moody is getting show what he can do with less pressure. And, as predicted, his game is totally different when he knows he’s getting dedicated minutes. Some of this rim runs are hideous, but I don’t care because it doesn’t stop him from trying over and over again in different ways, which is exactly what he should be doing. Whoever is making masks for the Warriors players needs to be fired!! Get the doctor who makes the masks for Aaliyah Edward’s. She’s been wearing a mask while laying for at least the last two years straight and has zero problems performing. There’s a serious lack of pride and professionalism in whoever is fabricating the masks for Looney and Podz. Just further confirms that there’s a comfort, or a laziness in the org overall. They need to cut out the fat and get hungry again, they are embarrassing themselves over and over with how they treat their players and the output they are getting back from their players as a result. And someone needs to just bench Steph so he can actually heal. I’m hoping he’ll finally permit himself to take a break after the All Star game. He’s going to do some long term damage to himself at this rate.

I thought Shröder was brought to mix it up with Draymond, but it didn't happen. If anyone can get Draymond to crash out, it's Jimmy Butler. I think Dunleavy paused on taking the GM job for a minute because he didn't want to be forced to re-sign Draymond, but he caved. Now he can get rid of Draymond by other means. Just a fun theory. Would explain Steph's checked out attitude if he knows pieces of the current team are going to Miami.

Also, w kerr running these ridiculous micro lineups, players have to work extra hard to hold up defensively. He's def not 2016-2022 Steph but if put in the right position, he would light it up

Curry around 60mil , wigs 25 mil, dray 25 mil then add 30+ for jk next year then add lavine at 40 mil. That will put us prob over the hard cap.

But not being able to give us 30mpg, or even 16mpg of his original level of play is the reality for this team going forward. And we should not be running a system that demands that he give us more than he is capable of.

I honestly dont think him and Draymond are even that much of a positive on the court nowadays, do we honestly look that much worse with those 2 resting? I think you’re onto something w the pre-trade psychology and energy level, especially once they get down by 10-15+. Their lack of any comeback wins going into the 4th is stunning, and the stat itself is deflating. With u on letting Post take his lumps as he also shows his strengths. Solid backup career ahead? I can’t see better based on D. Dray next week…can he infuse positive energy and toughness of spirit like he has over his career?

Otherwise, it'll cost the Dubs Wigs for salary matching purposes. That said, there will no doubt be moves made to reshuffle the roster. Whether it's to improve the roster (trade for Vuc), open up room under the hard cap at the 1st tax apron (potentially sign Post to a standard contract), or both is TBD.
