Just solid all around and knows who he is as a basketball player. Also the guy we signed recently to the open 2-way slot vacated by Pat's promotion to a standard contract is Braxton Key. He's had a couple short stints in the NBA, but predominantly a G Leaguer and has put up good numbers there. Had an awesome debut with Santa Cruz on Wednesday. They play again tonight and we should get our first look at Taran Armstrong, too.

I feel like he's passing up looks that he could absolutely make.

Reaves was a 2nd round pick who got his 2nd year guaranteed. After his 2nd year they gave him a 4yr/$53m contract and look at how much of a steal that contract is. I don't know about you but I project Post to be our starting center in a year or two so I would give him four for $60m. It all depends on how you value him of course.

Its not like you're getting worse on defense. And Knox has size and length. Knox is a certified bucket getter in terms of mentality. He's not Jordan Clarkson, but with a green light, I think he can be that scoring spark off the bench if we put him with the right rotation.

At his best maybe 6 threes? 2. Improve his touch which is ok, some flashes wit the floater. If he can be a Zubac level of touch of hooks and floaters… scary hours. 3. Be solid defensively, I think more than anything just continues improving his timing and discipline which he’s already shown. Tim Duncan athletically was cooked in the 2010s but was still elite because of his timing and discipline granted he had an insane wingspan. Combination of solid defence, 3pt shooting, some mismatch hunting and you have a real threat.

I think him overpassing is to keep role players in-rhythm and confident.. so when the postseason comes, he trusts those guys to make shots as he gets more aggressive in his shotmaking. Thats why we can see guys like Gabe Vincent look so good in the playoffs with Jimmy because he's been feeding those guys shots all season long

He is the only pure shooter besides Steph (and maybe Moses/Post) on the roster, and he will be direly needed in the playoffs for spacing. Hate it or love it, that's the facts. So I'm fine with Kerr keeping him in the rotation, just as long as he has a short leash when it's not his night.

2025-03-07 20:29:12 +0000 UTCQuinten "The Dutch Delivery" Post. This man is rapidly becoming my favorite guy to watch (obviously after Steph). The dude is cold blooded. Seeing him switch out on the perimeter and just keep his feet moving is amazing, and he's scrappiness leads to more possessions. I cant get enough of this guy! We're on a high right now, so long as Jimmy is playing. And while there is plenty of positives to go around, that is one thing that concerns me. We are doing great when Jimmy is playing. But we all saw what happened when he sat for one game. Our offense turned into a joke. I hope Podz is okay, even though Im not too upset at a few more Pat Spencer minutes. I dont know what it is about Pat Spencer. He's kind of an awful finisher around the rim, and he cant shoot, and yet. I still like watching him play. If he cant turn into a serviceable finisher, he would be so much better. We're going to need shooting soon. Curry cant keep this up, but even if he can, we wouldnt want him to. We need this for the playoffs/play-in. Someone else has to keep scoring and theres no way in hell you're gonna rely on Buddy. You're 100% right Alch. I think Buddy is the worst passer in the league hahaha. Dude has no idea where the ball is going when it leaves his hands (kinda like when he shoots!!!!). Steph is utterly insane. A no-dribble, offbalance, turning, fadeaway over a double team at half court. Thats one of the craziest shots Ive ever seen him hit. I literally shouted "what the fuck" when he shot it, actually in angry tone! Like what the fuck are you doing/thinking???? My apologies Wardell. The defense has been pretty good teamwide lately. And so have the TOs. The ending of this game was a little trauma inducing cuz for a second we looked like the Jimmy-less Warriors. Need to not let that happen again. Saturday will be an interesting matchup.
