I agree that there’s some depth that we can take advantage of any even agree that the older players will need the younger players to be the main motor during playoffs. They have needed that all year. I also anticipate that Draymond will be one of the first to get injured of the older players, so we will need as many healthy players on the bench as possible. Nobody wants to be in the same situation the Mavericks found themselves in recently.

But before it was him taking his opportunities, this version of Moody has been given permission to get his. And the difference is that he’s actually getting fed and not just at the perimeter. For both Podz and Moody, they both actually started playing like this right before Jimmy got here, that’s why the team record when Mo starts is longer than the team record with Jimmy playing. I seriously don't know what happened to homeboy, but he flipped the switch recently. He literally is moving out there like a baby Kawhi. He's ultra agressive going downhill, shooting with a lot of confidence, actually defending pretty well. I've been saying we win games almost 100% of the time if Buddy scores at least like 15pts (b/c it means he's smoking less of our offense away). However, we need to start thinking about what this team looks like if they just lean into Moody at this point, b/c if he keeps hooping like this, you kind of have to play him for at least 30 minutes a game. It's curious too, b/c if Moody is going to be shooting this good, he may even have to eat into Kuminga's minutes... which is a crazy thing to admit at this point, b/c Moody started off this season pretty rough. Clearly Jimmy has helped coach him into playing to his strengths better. So it's interesting, b/c now it feels like Moody helps keep continuity when Jimmy is off the floor, b/c he makes sure we continue to have someone somewhat aggressive on the floor that can apply some downhill pressure. He's even using the same moves that Jimmy would. Triple threats, jab steps, pump fakes. It all has Jimmy's signature all over it. I guess only time will tell what this looks like.

Its sad. How many teams blew their chance at winning by following the crowd. Same issue here. I mean, in the usual case the 10th man is much worse than the 8th man, so shortening the rotation is necessary. But that's not the case for the Dubs. Because of that, they will reduce their title chances if they forfeit that advantage by shortening the rotation because "every playoff team ever" does this.

Almost everyone would be a rotation player on two-thirds of the teams in the league. That's not the usual case. So, just cause other teams decide to tire out their top 8 doesn't mean the Dubs, who have 12 of that talent level, have to follow suit. Maybe the smart move would be for the Dubs to keep their top 8 fresh by playing 2-4 more players, so come game 6 your top players can easily outhustle the other team's players and, if needed, COULD play more minutes in games 6 and 7 and STILL be fresher than the opponent..

But since JB arrived they've been playing Dray, Steph, Podz, Moody, Loon, QP, GPII, Gui, JB, Buddy--that's 10. And they are 10-1 or something like that. To fit in JK that'll be 11. And that's not counting Pat Spencer. With that distribution of minutes everyone is able to play with energy because everyone is pretty rested. Why cut three (or four if you count Pat Spencer) players out of the rotation and thus run your core players into the ground JUST when the games are going to intensify?

Going back to a thing you said last breakdown on Quentin Post, I agree that he's looking great, and actually probably is one of the best centers in the NBA right now. Problem is, if you look at the centers who are better, guess what teams they are on: Chet with the Thunder, KP with the Celtics, KAT with the Knicks, Mobley with Cleveland... in other words, all the contenders who we'd have to meet in the Playoffs, and who, unfortunately, all still look like they are better than us in a 7 game series. Maybe you think differently, but that's my assessment. The Celtics have role players hitting 40 balls, we've got Buddy Hield laying goose eggs.

I think the warriors have the personal now to be looking for reasonable shots. There was an time in the 3rd quarter where they got 2 or 3 straight offensive rebounds and they kept settling for contested 28 footers with over 10 seconds on the clock.
