Miami has better athletes than us. We suppose have better shooting if Steph in the lineup. Did not watch the game, JK improves in Defense so I don’t worry too much. Shooting will be there. Moody shooting looks ok, just lacking some luck. However we do not have much time to gel before playsoffs, Hope we get through

No matter how bad he is shotting no one will get fired for sticking in Buddy grill. That leaves 4 with more room to manuver maneuver. The question for me is why we don't get on all the other so called better players who don't take advantage of that spacing. Steph is out why the Dubs not using this opportunity to establish Air Congo ball. Every adaptsbto Steph ball. As the second most efficient scorer with insane talent to raise the lid, why we still trying to play Steph ball with players who don't match up to Steph. Ik love me some Jimmy but JK should be the go to with steph out. Jimmy is the ideal #2 who will give you 20-25 a night as Robyn. Madness!

Their owner already stated such oublically so Kerr actions should be to build that confidence that they really need JK as the pending contract will confirm. At one point JK and Buddy came in the game and within a few minutes they were back out to the bench infavour of those who were performing at lower levels. Make that make sense. Don't 4get Ker told JK to pass the ball to Steph. No one got fired for passing the ball to steph but when you have a coach who demaning you inessence force passes to get to Steph when yiu have 90% peecent shots in front of you is madness. Kerr did this so much and for so long that alpha scorers, Buddy, JK, BP and to a lesser extent DS all second guest themselves before they shoot. These and Post are instinct shooters like Klay. Now Steph hurt he will expect them to just flip the switch and go back to their natural self when he already programed them different and if they did not look to pass first and miss --> BENCH!!! Post lighten it up in the lost and instead of feeding him Kerr sit him for an extended period if not the remainder of the game. Madness. Who cares if he gave up one or two shots when he shooting 3s faster than those 2 coming in. If Kerr is not doing this intentionally I apologize but of all his great game planning and half time adjustments, this is a weak part of his coaching traits. He does not do i game adjustment well. I don't remember which game but Jimmy chewing out Buddy was just because of Kerr gaslighting. I coauld he Jimmy nah like Kobe or Gil Arenas would say, F what the coaches say, let it rip. You the highest 3 pt maker in the last 5 years. We need points. That means something Think about it. Buddy came to the Dubs and fell in love. He shot lights out during a period he basically had the green light. Then the pass first philosophy ramp up after the first loosing streak and Buddy shot been like the notes on MJ Triller sheet. Now Steph out and .... This team in all it's iterations should be in 4th place throughout the season. Dray 21 pt gm he forced all those 3s bcuz JK and Buddy was on the bench. You want Dray or Buddy taking them. Anyway JK and Buddy will shine when tge playoffs reach and Dubs back gets put against the wall and Kerr has no choice but to feature JK and Buddy. One thing I know Kerr better deside soon or it going to be a short post season

Remember they did that just before he got hurt and he balled out. This talk of flashes and we not sure is pure crap. If JK was crap you think Miami would have been so high on getting him for Jimmy. Jacob needbto put his foot down As for post, he was the only one with swift decission and his shots were clean yet instead of letting JK, Post or Buddy light ablaze they cut their vibe short and send them to the bench to Kool right down. They even did that to Klay. But Alc you 100% spot on. All those penetrate to 2 ft and kick out for a much lower and risky 3 pt shot is madness. With Steph out take the points but no Kerr tell them to pass the ball, as it will find Steph. We steph on the table This more than madness. This game should have been a win. JK don't needbto fit in. With Steph out they need to fit on to JK style. Either that or go score 50. Doing it his way will not make a difference if they plan not to match other teams bid

I see Jimmy and Julius Randle with a bit of Zion. He needs touches and reps. If we have Jimmy and Dray heading into next season.. I think we should do a sign and trade with the Nets for Cam Johnson or someone like that. Signing Jimmy means we will try to compete next season too.. so we need ready to win players now. Cam Johnson is great for NOW as well as for the FUTURE! Kuminga needs reps that we cant give him right now

Aging OG’s will likely bring more, not less of this. I agree with those pointing to more minutes for the yutes, maybe from the jump, but especially in response to that slog of an opening.

I’ll be honest, Jimmy didn’t look happy with that at all and didn’t look like he thought he was the problem. He didn’t point fingers, but he did seem to think that not every player looked like they were trying to play well in the game.

Like I literally watched Draymond and everyone else blow defensive assignments all game. The whole team were bad defensively but JK was a positive on offense. He will take some bad shots but who doesn't? JK was literally the reason we were in this game at half time with how poorly we played on defense. Everyone was a minus at the end of the 3rd Quarter but they all played the 4th quarter and bettered their stats when we all know the game was already over. Kerr benching JK in the 4th was him basically acting like he was the worst player on the floor and he knows the fan base will use that to scapegoat Kuminga. That's just sad

Not only are they not getting back, and not rotating on D, you've got offensive possessions here where 3 of our guys don't even get across half court. This is the kind of game where you have to match effort. If the starters don't have it, play the deep bench. At least they'll run. I would have played Gui a lot more; no one was defending well, but ATLs no-name guys were killing us on the boards. So many second-chance 3's for them and none for us.

There's a legit way to draw a foul from a defender behind and there's what he does. Got away with it like 3x that game. So damn annoying. And Nique in the commentary booth saying all game that the 3s Post was taking were bad shots was funny.. he obviously only watches the bum ass hawks. You can tell when other commentary teams scout/are aware of what visiting teams do well.

2025-03-23 20:05:04 +0000 UTC2nd quarter Jimmy fts were the only offense constant late shot clock shots. Other end Okungwu decided to hit threes, Low man too small many times. Kuminga needed to come in to help Jimmy there for a while and he did but Okungwu just never saw real resistance. Buddy and Podz were the only two players in the paint on one score by Niang with that big ass rook next to him, how tf? Can’t hit 3s, more missed bunnies, JK and Jimmy only creators, Dray kinda didn’t exist, ATL kept getting mismatches cut it to 10, but Okungwu. much better quarter but you sold the first. 3rd quarter it was clear who you force to shoot 3s, it wasn’t Okungwu, still got 3 guys touching the paint on defense leaving wide open corners for the guys you DO want to shoot 3s anyway. Nothing fell our way but the defense was more present, but turnovers started racking up 5 minutes in, good shots were somewhat sparse. Best chance was 6 minutes left, but Niang 3s killed them along with more awful shot creation from anyone not named Jimmy or JK. More ATL mismatches, TJD came in game let’s be real 3rd was cooked atp. 90-73 I’ll stop there because nothing mattered here on. How this game was supposed to be Kuminga fault is beyond me, the offense was terrible and the motion had nothing going if those two weren’t attacking and drawing contact outside of the normal movement offense. The activity on defense however is what lost the game and that was a team wide thing, too tired I’d say. I would love to see JK shoot 7-10 every game but that’s not happening that’s more expectation than Jimmy or Curry, but if the fan base doesn’t get that from the bench they act like they have Anthony Bennet, what I will say is that Looney minutes going back up with the return of JK makes no sense, JK getting less minutes is good not because he’s bad, but because Kerr has such weird lineups in with him.
