Yo Alk! Forgive me but I have to rant after this warriors vs rockets game. I can't wait for your breakdown to come out and see what you made of this but Kerr just showed us what it's gonna be in the playoffs and I think if this is what we get, it's a second round exit at most. We are not going deep into the playoffs without Kerr trusting the young guys. The top teams are big and athletic and we have to match their athleticism. These guys need to understand their set roles so that they know when they are coming in or going out. You can't play Moody 30mins then, drop it to 14 when he's having a bad shooting night. That will make him to press cos he knows his minutes are not guaranteed. So in the next game if he misses his first 2 shots, he will start feeling the pressure knowing he will get benched if his shots don't fall. Kuminga was one of the players matching the athleticism of the Rockets. He had 7 tough rebounds and a couple more he didn't get but made sure the rockers didn't either. In the 3rd quarter when we were making a come back he and Loon were huge on the boards, stopping second chance points. We took them out for the start of the 4th and the game was over in 3 minutes. I get JK had a couple of bad turnovers but he also brought a lot of energy, rebounding and good defence. He also provides a scoring punch and was fairly efficient. Why can't Kerr just let this guy play?? He has the shortest leash of any young player in the league and if not for Draymond crashing out, Jk would have probably played 12minutes. Why? Cos of a couple of turnovers Kerr turned a blind eye on all the other good things he was doing? Atleast he was trying to make things happen instead of the passivity of Butler. We have seen JK slay these rockets twice already this season yet he can't get enough rope. JK seems to be the only guy who can't take bad shots, yet Dray, Podz can take all the midrange shots and contested 3s they want with the short clock at 14. And Podz is playing great by the way but see what the coach giving him confidence to play his game has done for him and compare that to JK and Moody? Well I'll wait for the breakdown and see what you have to say. We might end up in the play in and get bounced again like last year cos Kerr has his favourites. SMDH I hope Podz keeps shooting well but I'm sure he wont keep shooting 50% from 3 in the playoffs yet Kerr can't give JK the confidence to play so that when shots aren't falling JK can just push his way to the line sometimes. Kerr is messing with these young guys heads man
