But if the grizzlies beat the timberwolves tonight, I really think the team should consider just bailing entirely (or playing the bench) on the final two games. Then we get to play one must-win game on a Tuesday, and take a good break and beat up the rockets from there. Yes it's a must-win game, but that's better than two hard must-win games followed by a potential must-win game if we fail. The worst possible outcome for this team is overworking their vets. If every game is going to be a must-win anyway, there's a scenario where they should just gamble on winning a must-win game vs the timberwolves.

2025-04-10 13:47:45 +0000 UTCSome people don't see the connection between Dray hunting Steph, Moody passing up a three or drive from the corner causing a turnover, and coach draining players confidence by yanking players after mistakes and claiming "If you have Steph Curry on your team, you pass the ball." And what do you get? The predictable result: jitters under pressure, teams double- or triple-teaming Steph knowing the Dubs won't hit the open man, and, thus, losing winnable games. This is the exact opposite of "Strength in Numbers."
