2025-04-30 19:44:31 +0000 UTCThis isn't about evangelizing for JK, at least on my part -- it's about he CAN provide some things that other guys on our roster can't, and those tools have a place. And second, it's about the fact that with an older roster, we have to find ways to reduce their workload where possible. If you watched Lebron's podcast with Steve Nash, he himself admitted that the hardest part about playing as an older player is recovery after exertion. Older guys need more time and more rest to get back to their normal selves. That can't be changed no matter how great a player is. As for the rest of this series, we NEED to sic a POA attacker on VanVleet or Green early to at least tire them out and run them off the 3 pt line; I'm not sure GP2 is better for that than JK.

2025-04-30 16:11:49 +0000 UTCI don't understand all of the people who care more about JK's development than about the Warriors winning. I would love to see JK get better. He hasn't. His improvement has been slow - even considering his limited role. But what I care about is the Warriors winning. We had all season for JK to show us he could be trusted to play in the playoffs. He showed me (and, more importantly, 9 time champion and professional-NBA-talent-evaluator Steve Kerr) that he couldn't be trusted. So he gets limited minutes. And Kerr put him in last game and... he showed why he couldn't be trusted.
