Today I'll be updating on Monster Haven, Project Tower Climber (bum bum bum!! It has a name!), and later, some life.

Monster Haven

I GOT ARTS. Which reminds me, I'm starting a new regularish post on Sunday--The Opinionarium. I'll put up some thing (art this weekend) and a pole or an invite to discuss and give your opinion. This'll be available to all patrons Shop Owner+.

Otherwise on Monster Haven, book 1 came back from proofreading and I did all the stuff, so now it's just formatting and cover art and this monster is done! Book 2 & 3 are lagging a little behind because reasons outside of my control, but it'll be okay =)

Project Tower Climber - Deathless Towers

The outline is happening. Boy, this idea has gone on a WILD ride around the universe, but I've finally settled on something I'm excited to write. The ideas are flowing and the concept is fun. This is going to be a gamelit, tower climber magical academy. My MC is different from what I've written before, so I'm going to need y'all to call me out when he's not acting consistently!

LIFE...

Finds a way.... sorry. Okay so, life. I did a LOT of planning in the last few days. I know it's cliche but I really like to spend the first two weeks of the year getting my shit together.

One of the things that came up in planning was that I needed to quit my day job. Yep. So I'm going to... 

25th of February is my last day with my company, which I adore, honestly. They pay well, the people are awesome, the work is (usually) challenging and fun. I feel bad. Like, I found a great company to work for and I'm like "Nah I want to go suffer as a writer." >.<

I love storytelling. I can't keep making excuses like, "How will I pay my bills," or "You'll only have beans and rice, no more ramen... no more marinated eggs...." I WILL figure this out, and planning was part of it.

Things I planned:

- Social Media Strategy

- Learn 2 Ads

- Book Production Schedule

- Daily Life Schedule

- Priorities and Essentials

- How can a Virtual Assistant help me with some of the workload (<---- does that interest you at all? email me @ contact@astralscribe.com)

Anyway, I did the thing and I feel more jazzed than ever to attack it. I will make it this time. This time, I can't fail. I WON'T! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
