He kind of skims over Murchison, so thank you for further enlightening us! Checkout Tim Dillon’s early Patreon episodes, he has some interviews with Baker if you’re interested. As to Hoover it has been said, Donovan, Lansky and Murchison had the "goods" on him. Not a big deal but La Jolla is pronounced "La Hoya ". I grew up in San Diego County and there was a running joke about a tourist waiting for the bus to La Jolla.
