Hello Comrades

How are you doing? I'm well, thanks for asking.
Check out this CNC router test fit for a new project we're working on.
Let me update you on what I've been doing the past month:
The last weeks of 2018 were two of the most unproductive weeks of my life. And it was β¨AMAZINGβ¨. YouTube has been such a monumental and exciting part of my everyday for the past two years that I kinda forgot how to turn it off.
Stepping away for a couple weeks helped me reflect on how we do the things we do. You probably noticed the past three videos were a little different than usual, and I'm curious what you thought of them (please share). I want to keep experimenting with new ways of filming to reduce the time sunk into editing. Hopefully we can make better videos and more of them!!
Also cameramanjohn is back.

I have enjoyed them!

It's all about the content bro! As entertaining and fun as your highly polished vids with effects/skits are, I think your humor still comes through in these recent videos. I still enjoy little silly projects like the trash boat, but maybe these can be filler/stall for a main project that you can sink more time into. In any case, keep up the good work and do what you enjoy!

The videos have been good! I will say, though, that I'll watch whatever weird garbage you post so maybe I'm just an easy consumer.

I miss CMJ but appreciate the fact that you posted up videos anyways. Some time saving tips possibly.... Um you don't need any flashy effects although they are cool. If you want to save some time in the edit maybe skip those. You could save some time by not having Michael in your videos then you wouldn't have to edit out the swearing. You also need to do a episode on the flatch pipes. Google flatch pipes. You're welcome. I can send them to you if you want. Thanks for being awesome.

Definitely missed cameramanjohn. The recent videos were still very entertaining, but I prefer less shaky-cam. Plus cameramanjohn does a great job of including his unique personality into the videos. Regardless of my opinion, finding a maintainable life/work balance should absolutely be a high priority.

Yeah glad you got to take some time off. That's absolutely necessary every once and a while to keep your sanity. I definitely liked the recent vids although I did miss cameramanjohn a bit :) . Doesn't need to be a massive project to be a good video (although the big projects are really cool once and a while). Just keep doing you ma dood!

I think the majority of your viewers care more about the content than the production quality (for myself I know this is true at least). There is obviously a standard to be upheld where things become unwatchable but if you look at guys with similar channels e.g. aVe or codyslab, the quality can still be very good with simple self-shot clips. Most of us watch because we don't have the time, space or expertise that you do to do these things ourselves! Keep up the good work πΊ
