New Year, New Me

First, I want to thank everyone who has stuck by me the last year. I really am grateful that despite the past year of chaos on my end, you've all helped support me. I genuinely do not think I could have made it this far without any of you.

Today, I am recovering from a cold, but I want to express what my intentions are moving forward.

First, some brief history. Back in 2017 or so, I thought that I would be doing this full time. Youtube allowed me to sell files on youtube itself, and I made a decent living doing that. But that changed, and I wasn't able to make that up anywhere else. My motivation was shot overall, my interest waned, and life got in the way. Going from 27 then to 34 now is a big jump in terms of perspective, and a lot has happened.

Back then, I tried to be professional. I created an LLC, I upgraded my gear, and I thought 'yes, I am going to do this.'

Yesterday, I filed to have my LLC dissolved; I simply don't think it's worth having to pay business taxes and government fees to maintain the business at this juncture. And I also don't think anything that I'm doing is worth it like that.

But that doesn't mean I'm going away. My intention is to try and change how I do what I do, experiment with methods and ideas, and in general loosen up and try to return to the feeling I had when I did this mostly for fun rather than trying to make it a business. What that means for you, I'm not sure. I hope this means that my output will increase in frequency. I hope this means that my output will increase in quality. However, this may also mean that some things that I experiment with will not end up being good.

Basically, I feel like I've been working with recipes and I need to break away from that if I'm going to be able to improve at all.

I hope that you'll continue to support me, and I hope that I meet your expectations moving forward.
