The healing sidekicks of a destruction god

Once the door to Saif and Julie’s room opened, Seth smiled wryly and sent his time energy to freeze the nervous-looking Saif who appeared in front of him.

Looking at Julie on the side, he asked: “How did it go?”

Julie looked at her husband, but seeing him not moving, she turned back to Seth: “What did you do?”

“I froze his time so that we could talk. Don’t worry, he’s fine.”

Julie nodded, not really understanding what that meant, before saying: “I told him about it, and he agreed to let go of his grudges if you can heal him.”

“Lisa?” asked Seth, not really caring about how Saif felt.

“I didn’t speak to her about it yet. Changing that girl’s mind won’t be easy anyway, so it would be better if I only mentioned it after you healed Saif.”, said Julie with a sigh, knowing Lisa could sometimes be just as stubborn as her father.

Seth nodded and resumed Saif’s time. After introducing Leora and Caitlin quickly, everyone made their way toward the bed.

They all had different expressions; Saif looked nervous, Julie mostly curious, Seth and Leora indifferent, with Caitlin being the only one looking troubled.

Once Saif lay on his bed, he opened his mouth to speak, but Seth froze his time again. Seth couldn’t wait to be done with it, so he morphed one of his fingers into the shape and size of Saif’s dick from the records.

Julie watched the entire display with interest and said: “That is his for sure. How did you do that?”

Once outside the room, Caitlin looked curiously at Seth and asked: “Is size that important?”

Rebecca’s parents were enjoying their meal inside their cozy room when Seth arrived and knocked on their door. Rebecca’s mother, Orla Howell, cleared her mouth using a small towel and sat up to check on their sudden visitor.

Once she opened the door and spotted Seth, followed by his two students in tow, she bowed respectfully and asked: “Ascended Seth, to what do we owe the pleasure of your visit?”

“Sorry for disturbing the two of you during lunch. I wondered if you could spare me a moment of your time.” Seth said with a smile and looked towards Noah Howell, that was just sitting up from the table.

Leora also nodded towards the two, but Caitlin remained frozen with her eyes on Noah’s sleeve that was hanging empty towards the floor.

Noah nodded and motioned for Seth and the girls to step inside. Once Orla closed the door, Seth said slowly:" Do you remember what you told me before you agreed to leave the kingdom with me? That you will join me in my cause if you could still fight?"

Noah nodded, a doubtful look in his eyes. Seth smiled and rubbed Caitlin’s head as his eyes got fixed on his hanging sleeve. “Caitlin here has a special affinity called life and death. We could heal your injury using her ability and give you a new arm.”

Orla’s body shook while returning towards her husband, but only for a moment before she silently took her place by his side. Noah also touched the stud at his shoulder, his gaze becoming somewhat lost, and he asked: “Is ascended Seth actually not jesting?”

Seth nodded and said: “I am telling the truth. She can’t heal you on her own since she is not that strong yet, but with my help, restoring your missing arm would be easy.”

Noah fell into deep thought, but at that moment, he felt his wife tugging on his shirt from the back. He turned to look at her and found her looking back at him with a loving look in her eyes.

Noah sighed and looked back at Seth as he asked: “What would ascended Seth ask of me if I were to accept your help?” He couldn’t say he was not tempted. Life with only one hand being quite challenging for a man, but he knew there was no such thing as a free meal in this world.

“I didn’t come here looking for a trade. I’m simply doing a favor to the father of one of my students. This could also serve as thanks for your agreement to follow me south.”

Noah looked into Seth’s eyes and didn’t see a trace of deceit in them, but he still felt slightly uneasy. Closing his eyes, he grabbed the stud and squeezed it tightly, his mind traveling to all the pain he had to endure since he lost that arm. The looks of disgust from the other nobles, the sorry look he could sometimes see in his wife’s and daughter’s eyes.

‘Who am I trying to lie to? Even if I had to sell my soul for a chance to regain my arm, I’d still agree to it.’ Having decided, he moved his hand to grab onto his wife’s and nodded toward Seth.

“Then I won’t stand on ceremony and accept ascended Seth’s goodwill.”

Seth smiled and turned towards the bed as he asked: “Then, could you please take a seat on the bed so we can begin?”

“We’re doing it now?” asked Noah.

“Why do you think I brought Caitlin here if not to take care of your injury? Don’t worry; it will be quite quick and painless.”

Noah sighed again and moved to sit down on the bed. Orla held his hand and followed him the entire way.

Once seated, Seth froze both Noah’s and his wife’s brains using his time energy, rendering them unconscious. Walking next to them, followed by Caitlin, he made his shirt disappear and looked at the healed scar on his shoulder.

Turning towards Caitlin, he asked: “Are you ready?”

Caitlin was happy she didn’t have to heal some other guy’s dick and was even excited to get a chance to help Rebecca’s father, so she nodded immediately.

Rebecca has already told Caitlin about her father, and Caitlin promised she’ll help once she broke through the second shell, but now she got the chance to do it earlier, so it was normal for her to accept.

Seth first changed his entire body to look like Noah before using destruction energy to remove the healed tissue. Once that was done, he teleported his arm away, replacing Noah’s missing one and having Caitlin heal it in place.

The operation went on smoothly, but Seth’s time energy, and Caitlin’s life energy were exhausted at the end.

After the transfer, regrowing an arm was relatively easy with perfect body control, so he had no repercussions other than some soul exhaustion.

After changing back and having the system check again for any damage he might have missed, Seth removed his time energy.

Waking back up, Noah felt something was different from the start, but Orla didn’t, as she was still looking at Seth with anticipation.

Noah’s eyes started reddening once he spotted the new arm lying in his lap. He even believed he imagined things, so the first thing he did was slowly moving his new arm to poke himself.

Orla felt her husband move and turned to look at him, only to freeze when she spotted the arm that had appeared out of nowhere.

“Ho…” she started speaking but couldn’t finish a single word, her mind unable to comprehend what her eyes were seeing. She also moved her hand and gripped her husband’s arm in wonder.

When their hands made contact again, Orla started crying silently, burying her face in Noah’s shoulder. Noah’s tears couldn’t be contained either and started flowing down his cheeks.

Moving his hands to hug Orla to his chest, Noah looked at Seth, a look filled with appreciation and gratitude in them. The emotional display also influenced Caitlin on the side, but Leora remained just as stoic as Seth.

Noah opened his mouth to say something, but Seth didn’t give him a chance as he shook his head with a smile and grabbed both Caitlin’s and Leora’s shoulders. In the next moment, only Noah and Orla were left in the room, hugging each other while crying tears of joy.
