Writing Update + Kickstarter Finals [6/1/2023]

Hey peeps!

Happy June! Hopefully all is going well with you. My goals this month: complete Crown Tournament, finalize Kickstarter, hopefully finish draft of Abyssal Arcanist.

That's a lot of work, but I think I can do it (fingers crossed).

I still need to make a video for the Kickstarter (I'm dreading this part, because I'm an awkward lump) but otherwise, I have all the graphics I need (including the one up above, so show the finished product).

I'm excited, but also nervous. Now I have to finalize the printing requirements (where to get everything printed) and lock in a price per book (should be reasonable?)

ALSO, I plan on having a "Design your own mystical creature" backing tier. You'll get artwork, in-world lore, and your creature will become canon (and if I like it, in the books at some point).

Is anyone interested in that? (And the real question: what price point should I make this?) If the creature gets artwork, the tier has to be more than a few hundred (because of the cost of the artwork).

Personal Note

My agent has been working with people to do a Frith Chronicles web comic. I should have graphics to show you all soon (again, fingers crossed).

John and I will be going back to California for my birthday (not really, it's for a wedding, but it'll take place during my birthday) so that will be fun? Derp.

I'll be at DragonCon this year, attending as a Pro. Anyone here attending? I WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER PIZZA PARTY.

I played Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it was super fun. There are some franchises I can't stop myself from playing, and Zelda is one of them. I highly recommend it, though be prepared for a metric butt-ton of collectathons. o.o

John and I still hoping to start a family. I keep writing this on every update and it feels like a meme at this point. Maybe it'll happen. I'm optimistic!
