Writing Update + Deimos Artwork? [9/18/2023]

Hey peeps!

The above are sketches for Death Lord Deimos. I thought it was looking cool, LOL - hopefully you all like the stances?

I have good news! The audio for Abyssal Arcanist will release in Feb. Same narrator, and that makes me happy.

The Half-Life Empire is now on Amazon, and the books should be to me on Oct 2nd (weeks before the release on the 17th) so if you're in the "book tier" you will be getting the signed copies way early! 

Additionally, anyone who wants the audio for Half-Life Empire just needs to let me know.

DEATH LORD ARCANIST

I'll be uploading these chapters every couple days. Hopefully everyone is enjoying! We'll be getting lots of crazy twists, and the outline for this book is the longest of the series so far, including some parts I put thanks to the Patreon poll I started.

SEPTEMBER SHORT STORY

What would you all like to see for the short story this month? Slice-of-life? Combat? Any of my books worlds are on the table, just give me your ideas in the comments.

THE NEXUS FINALE

This book's chapters will be going up soon as well. I want to finish the series. I keep getting put into litRPG categories, so I think I should have a complete litRPG series. >.>

Baen Books expressed interest in picking up the books, but they're taking a long time to make up their mind. That's why the audio is delayed, and why I delayed writing chapters in the series. However, I am tired of waiting. 

As a weird aside, Baen Books publishes all my favorite authors and novels. I really want to be "part of their team" and during DragonCon, I was invited to private suite (because I was third place in their short story contest).

They were great! I thought I jived well with them, and we talked for 2.5 hours (including with Toni, the woman who runs all of Baen) but at the end of the day... They still haven't gotten back to me. They gave me "well, maybe one day, it would be cool to work with you, but ya know, maybe not now" so I'm not sure they really want to work with me.

Because of this odd feeling I'm getting, I'm just going to assume they don't want to move forward, and I'll finish Nexus and probably write a sequel to the Warlock Time-Detective (for anyone who read that).

Which brings us to...

TIME-LOOP WARLOCK

The sequel to this should be done soon. If you liked the first novel (that was posted here) the sequel will be equally as hilarious and adventure filled.

ETHEREAL SQUADRON + STAR MARQUE

I've written half of these each. I need to finish them. I just... feel more inclined to write other things. So, IF I GET MORE DETERMINATION, I will have them done by the end of the year. Is anyone here waiting for them? I feel like they're my least read stuff. o.o

PERSONAL

I'm home with my puppies, and the next con I'll be attending is MarsCon. I'll be a speaker! So, if you're in Virginia, I'll be there. There are game tables, too, so if you want to play DnD or a board game, this will be the time!
