If your monsters only have echolocation, you could press yourself into the walls/floor so that you blended in. Having something that hides your shape (like a cover that is shaped like a rock) would make you blend into the environment like camouflage. Alternately, a coating of sound-absorbing materials could render you invisible to echolocation.
