FVT turned 4 years old....3 days ago >__<,

AUUUGH, I was so busy catching up on things and sketching the rest of the battle that I completely forgot the comic's anniversary! I do have a little something planned for Halloween but absolutely nothing for this...

So yeah, 4 years ago, on October 7th the first page of the comic and the first color artwork were uploaded here, and the first month wrapped with a wopping 20 supporters for about 90$. I had no clue we'd get this far, if I did I might have planned things differently, such as coloring the comic from the start, but hey, that's a lesson for my future projects ^_^

The comic still has many years ahead of it, although things will start moving faster since I make 9 pages a month (In January this year we were still only at 6-7 pages a month), so 2019 will see more progress than year 1 and 2 combined! I was hoping to wrap chapter 3 this year but given we're already in October I think it will spill into the next year a bit. This chapter will get broken into 4 smaller chapters or so for the definitive  edition, it's really too big, like, half the comic at this point.

The reason for that is that I decided to flesh out quite a few characters that I only planned to show briefly, like Tanae, or the star fairies. In the original script the star fairies were almost only a transition to Irah's fight and to give a glimpse of the stuff that exist outside the island, putting the nihallaks' threat back into a wider perspective. The star fairies were going to be developed further in chapter 4, but I flipped all this around and now I'm stuck with a mega chapter. The fact that I don't script my sex and fight scenes either probably didn't help lol.

So what is too be expected for the 5th year of fvt? I will avoid outright spoilers, but the war will begin for real, we're talking about the nihallaks marching (or hovering) inland, while at the same time having to deal with dissent from certain units within their own ranks. The main cast will splinter into groups, such as Amy and Syl working with Star to find a cure for Amy. Irah, Aquei and Holly having a tumultuous team up that will be more sexy and funny than dramatic. We will also see the Dark Forest in the comic for the first time!
