If in two years of scketch pages, events happends that Zak get back to his specie side, myri and tarah are captured, then even if Zak kept them for him to protect them, Myri don't love Zak anymore, and Zak, who has gave up upon peace, get off his depression and plan an escape. But it would be so dramatical.
