Kres is a brigand who made the mistake of trying to steal something from Grammond's wife, the Black Witch of the Wasteland, so she's... encouraged him to accompany her son Bruise on a quest to fulfill a vague prophecy.
I'll just explain more about these characters when they are actually finished.
