Hey everyone! Panam is back for another Cyberpunk 2077 set!
This set came as a bit of a surprise to me. After struggling with ideas for this week's post, I decided to do something with Panam. I went for a simple pose, as I'd usually do when focusing on an animation. What I didn't expect, is that I'd end up with one of my most photorealistic pieces so far. For such a quick setup, I was impressed with what I was able to come up with. I can't wait to share it with you.
The animation is going well. I finished animating the blocked segment I showed you last week. It was a bit more challenging than the first one because it involved a lot of hand and finger movements, which I find tricky to animate properly. To make things easier, I've been using constraints — a tool within Blender that creates relationships between bones and often cuts down on the amount of manual animation I need to do. I've also been adjusting the overall pacing of the animation. The preview you're seeing isn't exactly 1:1 with the animation, since the GIF plays at a slightly lower frame rate. This week, I’ll be blocking and animating the next segment. More updates soon.
As usual, early access to this week's post will be available on Wednesday. Thank you all your continued support!
