[Download] Realistic Textures V104 - 1.20.4+

Hi Everyone, I've made some changes to the pack. I completely reworked most of the doors and trapdoors to be more vanilla-like, and created a separate addon for the old modern doors. So the old version of the doors will be still available for those who liked them. I also updated HODCRAFT X64 with all of the missing textures that were present in Realistic Textures.

I haven't updated the 1.14.4 and 1.12.2 versions yet. I'm considering dropping them altogether. Is anyone still using either of these versions? :D

Note: Disable anisotropic filtering if you're getting transparent textures at water edges and If your leaves are looking weird you need to set the tree settings to fancy. Also make sure to set the proper texture resolution in the shader settings as well, especially if you're using SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1 or 3. Another thing, If you're getting the resource pack reload failed message that means you're running out of RAM. In that case simply go with the 512x version or lower.

No need to download the previous versions, these are all standalone. I recommend using the 512x version for gameplay.

(If you're on MC1.16 or 1.18, use the 1.20 version of the pack and ignore the incompatible message and for 1.20.1 you can use the 1.20.4 version of the pack because it's backwards compatible.)

Installation for the main packs are the same as before, just copy the downloaded .zip file into your resource pack folder and enable the pack in the ingame menu. If you're coming from on older version you can simply delete that. The new versions always have everything included. The jar files are only necesary for the custom models. Here is a short installation video on how to install it properly. You can find the download links for forge and optifine in the video desctiption or down below.

Installation video  ( It's for 1.16.4, but the same applies for other versions as well, just make sure you use the proper version for Forge and Optifine otherwise your game will crash.)

The mods folder can be found here, if it's not there just make a new one."C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods"

The resourcepacks folder can be found here."C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks"

Shader Settings (clickable) 

To match the quality of the screenshots, use SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1 and set RAYTRACE_GEOMETRY_QUALITY to 0, and change the tonemap to ACEStonemap in the shader settings.

To get the Parallax effect (3D bumpy textures) you need to use a compatible shader, I recommend using Continuum 2.1, SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1 or SEUS Renewed. ( SEUS Renewed only supports it up to 512x)

Go into the Shader Settings/Surface Options and enable Parallax Occlusion Mapping. In the same menu also set the texture resolution to 512x. It's for SEUS PTGI HRR 2.1/3

You can, but you won't get playable performance. :D It looks good for screenshots tho.

Hi, It should work fine. You'll get an incompatible message but can skip that. Also make sure to use the 512x version. :)

Thanks for the quick reply! It's a weird one. Most gravel blocks seem fine, but there are some here and there that are vanilla. The smelter is also vanilla. Is it possible to be due to mods? I am using terralith+tectonic and dungeons and taverns (no other structure mods)

Hi, what do you mean by 'not loading'? Is it invisible/vanilla, or showing purple and black textures? The addon for doors is still working—you can load it on top of the main pack. :) The post is old, but I've made some changes to it over time.

Hello! Everything seems good, except the gravel block texture does not seem to load. (I am running SEUS PTGI HRR 3 on minecraft 1.21.1 using Iris.) Also, are the add-on doors obsolete? I noticed the add-on post was from long ago.

Oh yeah, those "gaps" are pretty annoying. I've been trying to get rid of them, but I coudn't. The only way to reduce the effect is to use higher resolution textures for swords, but it's still not perfect.

Hi, Use the 512x version and when enabling it just ignore the incompatible message. It should load just fine.

Hey, You won't be able to run the 1024x version I'm afraid. I can barely run it on a 4090, but the 512x is smoooth. :D

Try the 512x version. It happens when you either dont have enough RAM or VRAM.

heyyy hodilton, love the pack, recently got it and have been using it! for the past few days ive been using the 512x but really want to use the 1024x. i have a 4060ti so i think i can run it, but it just crashes with the shaders. any way to fix it?

Hi Hodilto, may I ask how to disable the resourcepack moon? I kind of prefer the vanilla style moon/the moon in shaderpacks. Also because my pc can only run 256x resourcepack

Hey, Try to disable motion blur in the shader settings, you can also try setting "RAYTRACE_GEOMETRY_QUALITY=1" to 0. Btw, does it happen with optifine as well? It might be sodium related.

Hodilton i am getting a lot of noise in the rays and shadows in seus ptgi hrr 3 and the entities are getting pixelated while i am using sodium and rtx 4080 ti super. how do i fix this?

Hey. Nice, I thought everyone moved on to the newer versions by now. I'll update them asap, it might take few days tho. I hate how mojang changed the file namings, it's a pain to work with. :D btw how do you like the new doors/trapdoors?
