Joe, I can help with the keto thing. It takes a while for gut to adjust. Chopped veggies like baby broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus are low carb and good for regulation. Psyllium husk or senna (if needed) can help with severe constipation. Cheese can constipate, but if you balance out proteins and cheeses with keto-friendly greens and ruffage, and be sure to consume lots of healthy fats, it should work out. The key is to consume lots of healthy fats (e.g. grass fed butter, coconut oil or MCTs, etc.) and avoid carbs/sugars, etc. Best way for me to get the fats in (maintaining healthy weight, solid stats, etc. for years) is to use one of those hand-held cappuccino frothing tools to blend fats with coffee, tea and bone broths. Otherwise it is difficult to consume the amount of fats needed. Drink your fats, fatty. And try to get a good night’s sleep. That is crucial.
