I want to start this by saying I hope mark and joe give you a raise you deserve it for getting patreon consistent. I hope you are successful in all your endeavors with TWS and outside of it…. Iol I changed my name because all my tame comments were getting deleted not to “pretend it’s more people”. Posting similarly “shitty” things like gerbs. Lol get over yourself. No one’s out to get you. Acting like this is your podcast that people are coming here “hating on you” this is an already established podcast that you are the addition to. I’m open to change and I think patreon is open to change if it’s seen as a positive change, however I don’t think a 3rd mic adds a positive change. HGS = positive change, more consistency on Patreon= positive change. You’re too sensitive and hurt yourself by taking comments like gerbs personally. You have this weird thing that there’s a bias against you it’s a 3rd mic bias. If Louis ck or the corpse of norm or Mitch hedberg was the 3rd mic some people would feel the same way, it would change the show probably become like every other conversational bullshit comedy pod. Always consistent support for you not finding right balance on mic it’s not five people. You’ve flipped out at people when they criticized having a 3rd mic. Calling them “fucking babies” and other insults. Not everyone is going to comment and instead might opt to like a comment that communicates a dislike for a 3rd mic so the producer doesn’t lose his shit on Them. Mark and Joe will throw to you the perfect amount of times for that given episode. They will include you they have well over 10 years of comedy instincts. They’re not paying you to try to be funny they have that covered. They wont fire you if you just chime in when they throw to you and forgo your unprompted monologues.

I don't get your logic my dawg, it would be an appropriate title if they made the joke. Because its their podcast I don't think its really a 'bias', people listen to this for Mark and Joe and their dynamic, and aren't excited about that dynamic changing with a third mic. I think its normal for people to get pissed at it but I wouldn't let it get to you

To be fair, you’re not on the same level comedically to either two. So yes if Mark or Joe said it probably wouldn’t have this reaction for two reasons, they don’t pick the titles and they have built up years of comedic trust. I think there was a lot of funny quips in the episode and that wasn’t one of them, it’s not bias if I genuinely didn’t laugh. You can say it’s bias but I just haven’t ever laughed from anything you have said and that shouldn’t be a big deal or consider being a “hater” as you even classify yourself as director/producer and not a comic. As far as comments I understand the feedback part but I don’t think going back and forth with fans critiquing is a good look, probably best not to try to defend yourself(I’m sure thats easy said than done). I’ve seen some of the horrendous takes and and opinions for your moms house podcast for example but their producers (who also contribute on mic) do not get into the the anals with haters. People changing names, trashing you or whatever else is weird. I’m not trying to come off like that but just because a comment is negative, not what what you want to hear, or is even a minority of people doesn’t mean it’s invalid or doesn’t have some truth. Good luck, I’m happy I don’t have to deal with the fans.

For the OG listeners/patreon members TWS got rid of a third mic because It usually threw off the momentum and fans disliked guests. They brought it back with chuck (their previous producer didn’t want one). It’s created a paradox bc he’s done so much for content but when it comes to a voice on the podcast it doesn’t really add much to the “yes and” or just usually isn’t funny- like the “Cab stab” comment. I personally don’t like it when he’s involved during the episode but it’s typically only for a couple minutes a show, if it became more like 5-10 minutes I probably would take a break from the podcast and catch up on bonus material every few months and not pay the monthly sub. If you listen to We might be drunk, it’s different with Salacuse bc Mark and Sam’s dynamic is much more conversational rather than TWS which they try pumps out jokes every other word. Chuck, I don’t get bombarded with comments that people dislike me, so I really don’t know what it’s like but if you’re going to stay on the mic maybe stay out of the comments. At the end of the day they got rid of guests for a reason, I’m sure if bill burr had a cohost that chimed in with his solo podcast his fans would dislike it. Also I’m not trying to be shitty, I know it may come off that way but just giving feedback. Also I understand Mark and Joe are including you and talking to you, so it’s not necessarily trying to “call you out” it more or less the new iteration of the pod that feels lower than it’s peak, to be fair Mark doesn’t have stories of banging 4 chicks in one weekend anymore.
