Almost flawless: what are the odds of Elaine and George BOTH misdialing to reach Kramer? At least that seems to be the level of scrutiny Joe puts into these commentaries. Though I think Seinfeld gets so many passes because they created a world where coincidence and certain behaviors are written well enough to be acceptable. Or the performances are funny enough to let it all slide.

It's probably b/c I've seen every episode more than once and my sense of humor has changed over the years. Always hated Elaine and never found her to be funny at all, just a cunt who never really fit in the show in my opinion. Can't even think of one funny line by her.

2022-08-15 09:22:41 +0000 UTCSeinfeld is some of the most painfully UNFUNNY shit of all time. It blows my mind that 2 of the funniest people IMO (Joe and mark) are so heavily influenced by this stuff. It has to be the nostalgia doing all the heavy lifting.
