Wow I never realized the doctor who treated Dr. fieldstone in the ER was Roy’s sister 🤦‍♀️

I love Mason Quinn, Diamond Dave and The Answer the most but my absolute favorite right now is The Answer. I have been loving to see his excitement since the first episode of this show and I absolutely love how vulnerable he gets in some reactions. You're great, man!

That whole “your brain isn’t fully developed until 25” thing is entirely untrue and inconsistent with what the science truly says about it, and it really seems to speak to the further infantilization of young adults in their twenties that seems to be happening lately. Do I agree with a much older adult going after someone decades younger? Absolutely not. But let’s not perpetuate this “people’s brains aren’t developed” myth.

Mason Quinn was right btw there was blood after she got hit. There was also the tail light fragments.

I go back and forth on the Sam & Rebecca thing. My first watch, I was 100% on 'this is major ick' and then on rewatches I've been more measured, but I'm ultimately not a fan of it. I think I know what the writers were trying to do, turning a trope on its head, plus some character growth stuff, but...Sam is 21. His brain isn't fully developed, despite how mature and sweet he is written. Rebecca has no malicious intent, but she is the older and therefore responsible party. If a kid has a crush on you, as an adult, YOU have to rebuff that. Doesn't matter how persuasive they may try to be. Just my opinion, of course. Legally, I don't think they're doing anything wrong (age of consent, etc.), but it skeeves me out. Rebecca 100% deserves someone LIKE Sam (sweet, loving, supportive) but she also needs someone with more life experiences who can truly relate and understand her.

It’s 100% his sister. It’s been confirmed. She’s in an episode later in the series.

I never realized I had daddy issues until this show. The love Ted has for his son, Jamie’s struggles with his dad, Nate and his dad, Ted not giving up on Jamie, Sam’s relationship with his dad. It all just hits from different angles, good and bad.

There's nothing definitive here, but when this episode aired a lot of people theorized that the doctor who treated Dr. Fieldstone after her accident is Roy's sister. Roy says that his sister is a doctor in the emergency room, and that she couldn't be present at Phoebe's school meeting because she was working. It COULD just be coincidence, but... I agree that Rebecca and Sam's relationship is inherently unstable and cannot work. I've actually been in Rebecca's position of having young people who work for me have big crushes on me, and it's very flattering, but I didn't pursue a single one of them because even though we're all "adults", the 10-15 years between us puts us at completely different areas of life. We want different things, we NEED different things, and even though I wouldn't abuse my power the fact that I COULD abuse my power never goes away. Although I can't deny that Sam is INCREDIBLY charming so I almost don't even blame Rebecca for giving in, but it's still a mistake.

I really love the Sam and Rebecca storyline 😭🩷 And Jamie’s backstory is so heartbreaking. Phil Dunster did amazing! I’ve always thought that Jamie saying “don’t speak to me like that” was something Dr. Sharon taught him when he was in sessions with her

There was 🩸 so don’t worry MQ

Ok see Oak secretly likes the idea of Sam and Rebbeca but knows it a bad idea and mason Quinn is just like "Just open that door"😂 The heart want what the heart wants. Answer just so excited and happy. And me I'm just taking the ride.😉

ShaniaBADDIE4LIFE❤

I agree with Oak about Rebecca and Sam. I also love how emotional Answer was with the reveal of Ted’s dad. By the way, you guys should watch This is Us. Talk about excellent writing and gut punches - I would love to see that show on this channel.

Lauren

I’ve been waiting for this one
