Oak explained the Nice Guys thing perfectly. They are not nice, they're awful, they fake their niceness for something in return. What a sad world though that dudes like Andrew Tate are popular and brainwash young boys, we need men like our BM crew to be role models.

Aria Isara

The crazy part is how these dudes are sure they are nice people, and then conclude that women are awful people who hate nice men 🤡 When in reality, the "nice guys" are just awful men, that's why they get rejected. Women actually like real nice men. Oak understood it completely!

Aria Isara

"Women don't owe you anything." Period Oak! I loved hearing you call out the "nice guys" lol.

Worth noticing small things in this show, such as the teacher introducing the male police officer and only remembering the female officer as an afterthought.

You are correct. Not a private school. All schools have a uniform here. The only places I know that don't are a select few private schools and then we stop wearing a uniform when we go to college (sixth form).

Diamond Dave: here's a video of how they did the camera-to-drone switch for the last part of the episode: https://www.instagram.com/beforv/reel/DHgNycfSdL4/

How the hell did I miss this?!? I didn’t even get notified. Lol loved this show.

Aw, yes, the Nice Guy Syndrome. I'm over 50 now and I did run across this a few times in my life. Thankfully not often but they were always memorable. There was one guy in college that hung out with the same group of friends that I did. Perfectly pleasant dude to be around and I liked him but had no romantic interest in him at all. He asked me out one time and I politely turned him down and I'll never forget his response. "I don't know why you're saying no. You should be grateful that I'd even want to ask you out." Needless to say, that was the end of that association. I think the internet has basically helped evolve the Nice Guy Syndrome into the Incel culture we're seeing and hearing about today. It's made it easier for them to connect with each other and build a community. A place where they can air their grievances and theories without having to dig too deep into self reflection.

He's not in foster care.

The Oak is just spot on with this one. It's interesting because he was talking a lot less throughout the reaction but you can see he's just paying extremely close attention, really interpreting people's actions. Brilliant.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but the actor portraying Jamie this is his first acting gig. He is also a child in foster care at the moment. His talent is astonishing for his age.

Hi, I still haven't watched the whole discussion in the end but I needed to just quickly give some context. This isn't a private school, I don't think, unless I didn't catch it (I have watched this several times but i'll accept I might have missed something). They have uniforms in public schools in the UK.

As for the dad, it seems like he's a reasonably decent guy with good intentions, but he is mostly absent as many parents today are -- and it shows that if you are not *actively* raising your kids, someone else is -- whether that be their peers, other adults around, or some unknown part of the internet. It isn't enough to lead-by-example as a parent, you also have to have the important conversations with them. For instance, this dad isn't talking to Jamie about relationships and dynamics between men and women, so Jamie is learning about that online and getting all the wrong kinds of reinforcement. The dad assumes Jamie just knows and believes the thing the dad does, without ever making the effort to actually instill those beliefs.
