I always assumed that it was as Ted said, it started a year and a half after. I had never thought of it like you have though, that's very true! Henry would have spilled the beans sooner, had it started right after. Him and his dad talked everyday almost. It would have come out. Smart thinking!

I think all of Ted's feelings about Michelle's relationship with their former couples therapist are completely valid and it was good to see him express those feelings to her in the way he did. The relationship with Dr. Jake is incredibly inappropriate given that therapists aren't really supposed to get romantically involved with the clients, but I don't think there's any evidence that they began dating while she and Ted were still together. Keep in mind, they've been divorced for nearly two years at this point in the show, and there's been no mention of her being involved with someone in the first two seasons. Pretty sure if they were together before that Henry would have clued Ted in about it, as he did earlier this season.

That’s not fair, he’s made many insightful comments before.

He's largely based on Zlatan.

I think Zava is a fictional analog for Messi. He's not just a superstar, he's one of the greatest active players in the world. He's a phenom, and when a struggling team gets a phenom and they start winning like crazy, the press is gonna refer to the team as that phenom's team. Different sport, but I think he's also supposed to be comparable to Shohei Ohtani.

Hey guys. I just want to say thank you for these uncut links. I don't have Apple TV+, so I'm saving a few bucks a month, and watching it first time as well 🤘😁😀. Now, if you guys could watch the Tetris movie and "Still: a Michael J Fox Movie" that'll be awesome 👍. Thanks again!!!

West Ham United's stadium was the main venue of the 2012 London Olympics for the opening and closing ceremonies. It got retrofitted after the Olympics to become the permanent home of the Hammers.

Quinn's inability to read between the lines never fails to astonishes me. Great insight as always Oak.

All that I will say to that is that man, I hope you're doing OK. In this community that the BM guys have cultivated, you're seen and heard and supported and appreciated.

Oak is 10000000% correct on his assessment of Ted's biggest flaw being toxic positivity. That's why Michelle needed space to begin with. It's a very real thing, and I say this from the point of view of being a person who engages in toxix positivity. I'm happily married now, but I had a former girlfriend where our relationship ended for the exact same reason as Ted and Michelle's marriage ending (she specifically mentioned my toxic positivity and she was entirely correct and it opened my eyes to that fact, so in retrospect, I thank her for that). I know it's wild to think that being positive could ever be a negative thing, but I've come to understand that it absolutely can be unhelpful and unhealthy because you become too focused on trying to find the bright side that you refuse to address issues head-on and possibly delve into things that are unpleasant. Man, I always feel like I'm soooo on the same wavelength as Oak, and that end of episode discussion just hammered that home yet again. Not trying to get too parasocial with this shit but I'm more convinced than ever that Oak is someone I would become tremendous friends with quickly in reality because basically all of his takes on everything they watch aligns so closely to my own that it's becoming borderline scary (and also because we're almost the exact same age, and so on, and so on).

As someone who tries to constantly have a positive outlook on everything it does get exhausting, so much so it's gotten to the point that deep down I wish for my death just so I can have that release of everything. This isn't me saying I'm gonna off myself or anything but when that day comes I'll gladly receive it with open arms. Took everything in me to look at a situation I had faced when the mother of my 2 daughters was sleeping around with my little brother and had a family with him, had to look at it as "Well they're happy so it's all good" when deep down I wanted to go insane on them. Seeing Ted finally tell his ex wife what happened wasn't okay, brought a tear to my eye. That whole scene is perfection in my eyes.

I'm Batman

I'm having an issue getting into the website. Whenever I try to authenti ate, it does it for my main email, not the one I'm signed up to Patreon with. I tried to go to your website outside of Patreon and it still does the same thing.
